Why even put yourself through the opening titles mate, it’s been going on for more than a decade and it will never get any better.. We could win 20 PL titles and Champions league
trophies on the spin and the narrative against us would not alter one full stop ... !

I’m actually revelling in it, every win, every trophy is another big, FUCK YOU, to the media and haters .... !

So true , we have upset the cozy top four Sky loved , Rags , Dipper s, Chavs and the Goons it was all they ever needed , then we come along and upset the apple cart , likkle City with their deep pockets. Every time we stuff one of Sky's four luvvies we kick them in the bollocks, and like you say ,we should revell in it because we get under their skins , they can try to disregard us but the amount trophies we are consistently winning is causing the likes of Sky/BBC/BT sleepless nights , we just won't go away.

The more successful we are the worse the bile and lies spewed will become and the happier all Blues should be when it comes to pass ...! CTWD

No doubt in the future there will be more underhand antics , attempted bans / fines / conspiracy theories its just proof of their desperation we have got to be one of the strongest clubs in world football financially , squad depth and with a world class manager who has just committed to another contract. Its an absolute nightmare for the media , and i am lapping it up.

City and the scum hated each other a long time before the GPC came along, without a doubt

But it was really ramped up under that twat.

When I first started going to City ( 1954 ) there fans were pretty equally split and little animosity between them. Lots of people used to go to both grounds regularly.

The event we are not allowed to mention saw the huge swell of interest and " support " for the rags, but the huge swell was with the advent of the PL and the Govan Bully's successful years.

A most dis-likeable arrogant bullying twat , with disciples like as Crerand who is a complete clone. ( Has the displeasure of living near the arsehole in Sale - an utterly obnoxious **** ) .

Commentary on wolves game ‘Douglas luiz couldn’t get a look in for Man City but he is getting one at villa...’ it’s almost as if he wasn’t allowed to play for us because he didn’t have a work permit
What makes it worse is that's the 2nd time I've heard him say it while commentating on a game Luiz has played in.

I don't think the rivalry could have been described as friendly since the fifties or early sixties at the latest. The man I blame for fanning the flames of hatred however is not Ferguson but Docherty. He was totally obnoxious and pandered to the worst element of United's support refusing to condemn their excesses at second division grounds where they often outnumbered home supporters. His toleration of hooliganism did not extend to some City fans who beat him up and through him off a train, the hypocritical bastard was demanding long gaol terms for them. He was another who failed to see us as serious rivals and lacked all respect.

He was great for Aberdeen and great for united. Cannot be disputed, he was a fantastic man manager.
But I’d argue he was bad for football.
The erosion of respect for and at times outright hostility towards referees and match officials, opposing teams and managers, international football, the FA Cup and indeed a friendly local rivalry all have his grubby, bitter, self interested greasy fingerprints all over them.
Panorama exposed the shady financial links between himself, his son, the blackmail of young players and financial kickbacks back to the Ferguson family empire.
His much threatened libel suit never materialised after united’s lawyers told him he was bang to rights.
Instead of being arrested and jailed for extortion the club decided to back his boycott of a media rights holder.
The craven premier league allowed him to do so for a decade.
The craven BBC then gave him an award in exchange for belatedly changing his stance.
He persuaded united’s lawyers to pressure a court of law into inexplicably bringing forward the pre-agreed adjournment of his other son’s sentencing hearing for volleying the mother of his grandchildren’s head around the driveway of Ferguson’s own home, so the full gory details of her ordeal and injuries wouldnt be reported in the media
It is glorious that united’s current troubles stem from the ego, personal avarice and greed of a self-righteous, self-proclaimed so-called socialist who demanded the financial benefits of jism milked form a horse he ‘owned’ as a basic bribe and never paid a penny for.
Don’t forget he took the Glaizer hush money.
So yeah, great for united, horrendous for humanity
Great write up and some fantastic truths that have been thrown in a hole never to be dug up . But I could never call him a great manager . When at Aberdeen the town was dripping in money which dripped into the club from north sea oil . When he took over at the rags he cherry picked any player they wanted . I remember City smashing them 5-1 at Maine Rd and he had spent what was then a fortune on players . It took him 5 years to win the FA cup . Just compare that to how Pep has been slaughtered for not winning the champions league without the benefit of cherry picking . The rags were and still are running the premier league , FA and big are noises in Europe . Any competition they faced mainly came from one club sometimes two , not coming under much pressure in losing their dominant status . They were picking and choosing what referee they had . They had their greasy fingers in every pie .They then illegally started setting up lower level clubs with new owners from the far east ,then supplying the new owners with players and management . It was a big scale racket with footballing authorities turning a blind eye or being involved with them .
I can't be arsed writing any more , only that City came along and fucked it all up for them because our owners had their own ideas and weren't part of the American Mob . The filth have tried to stop us , hence FFP , VAR and European courts .
So I have no respect for bacon face whatsoever .

Yes 2006. Ish. Late equaliser. 1. 1
I really enjoyed Barton's goal. I had a corporate freeby to the swamp with the prawn sandwich brigade. When the goal went in it was like a funeral from the prawn brigade but all the waitresses were celebrating wildly through the window at the back. In those days a lot of the staff at Old Trafford were Blues.

That is as good as I have ever read on here. Well said Blue.

I was on that train on the way back from Ipswich and saw the whole incident. It started off amicably but Docherty, who was totally pissed was goading the City fans. He was physically thrown off at Stockport (Edgeley). There used to be a song about it. As I recall the lad who did it was sent down. Anyway I can confirm that Docherty was obnoxious and no doubt the United physio (husband of Mary Brown) would agree.

Indeed, Solskjaer brought the Frenchman back into the starting line-up against City and he duly delivered with a decent performance in the middle of the park.

He pulled the strings in midfield, with Bruno Fernandes enjoying a more attacking role in front of him, and didn't put a foot wrong
