Liverpool thread 2020/21

The tedium of constant rain and lockdown has made me pass time on the tedium of daytime TV. Channel 4 has cooking programmes from various locations but every time it is from Liverpool it is described as the home of the Beatles and Anfield. Everton never get a mention. It seems to be far worse than we get with the rags.
The programmes are all repeats showing how long the propaganda has been going on.

Well at least liverpool are in liverpool, when Manchester gets mention they show and mention a team from Trafford, not Manchester !

Is that right Jota is out for 2 months? Fuck me they are losing players for fun.

Its a bit of a spiral of doom.

You pick up some injuries which means the remaining plauers need to play more which means they get injured so you rotate even less, so the remaining players play even more...

It will have a massive knock on effect in the second half of the season. Anyone who stays fit will be knackered from covering for their injured teammates.

How did they get so much money for Brewster?!

Tbf, in this case his rep was high. Scored loads for England youth teams, scored loads on loan in the Championship too. Bit overpriced, but generally agreed that he's a very highly rated prospect. The dodgy one was Solanke who'd never had even as much as a decent loan!

Overpriced is an understatement, he scored lits of goals in the Championship because that's his level...well & truly had their pants pulled down....

Really strange, looks unfit, overweight and an awful match for Sheffield Utd. Considering their last striker used to run into the ground for them weird to replace him with someone so different. Him an Ramsdale look like bad signings for them which could be costly.

Jordan Ibe was another one, very average with a huge reputation.

Brewster’s [Sheffield united’s wasted] millions! They needed some one scoring immediately like Callum Wilson who Newcastle got. But they got shafted by the scousers. United have no time for a prospect but immediate conversion. They cannot afford to waste 25 odd million like they have done. This will determine their relegation sadly.
