Yep - you can walk on a torn ACL. What you can't do is move laterally / side to side. That's why it can be such a devastating injury for athletes even though surgery and treatments have come a long way in the past 10-15 years.are you able to walk off the pitch with a acl injury?
IMendy played on for a good few minutes.
You never really know, it could be a strain but it had all the hallmarks of an ACL.
It was regular Pickford. Even just kicking the ball he’s so over exaggerated. He just never seems in control and as a keeper it’s absolutely key. In that Sunderland team he was being peppered, which seems to fit his demeanour. When that’s not the case, even Everton’s dodgy back line has been streets ahead of that Sunderland side, he’s really struggled.
The challenge today was very poor and reckless. No player, whoever they play for, deserves that kind of injury.
Just catching up with motd, they didn’t show the Robertson kick, anyone got a clip?
I dont give a fuck about virgin van dyke but Pickfrod is a pub team player at best at will be Evetons undoing at best
He’s, by all accounts, done the ACL of a player, making contact at high shin/ knee height. It was a very poor challenge. Like outfield players have needed to adjust their tackling technique in the modern game, keepers need to do the same.Would not say it was that reckless, but is of course the worst tackle in the history of the game as it was against a Liverpool player.
