I know we've been garbage since the 2nd game of the season, but surely we cannot play this crap forever. We must have a good game in us somewhere I am predicting this will be it. Pep must surely have given them all a right kick up the arse after mid-week, and now with Liverpool banging 6 in (and counting) there's even more incentive. I am feeling strangely (and probably illogically) confident this afternoon.

Have you see Mendy play recently? As for Sterling I guess it's a lack of options.

I’m not a fan of having either Cancelo or Mendy at left back at the moment. They offer very little in either direction.

I’d be getting Ake up to speed there and we’d at least be solid and have a natural left footer.

Doyle, Palmer and Delap are key figures for the EDS and it’s more worthwhile for them to play EDS games than sit on a bench for 90 minutes. That’s my guess anyway.

Great team and nice to see Torres starting. Interesting that Nmecha has been promoted which suggests that he must have excelled in training. I am hoping that Bernardo has a pearler as I really miss him. If not, PF on 60 is probable. I had started PF for BS and Gabby for Raz but the rest are all as I chose.

Gundog isn’t the issue, he’s been one of our best players recently. Rodri has had a couple of shockers recently, so he needs to up his game big style today. He’s shown he’s capable of it in the past
