scary and delusional

Why would anyone think these people could band together and start a revolution? They can’t tie their own fucking shoelaces. You’re never going to convince them they’re wrong obviously; just do your best to outvote them and their leaders, one by one, each and every year, so their agendas never matter and they have no voice with power ever again.

Then we need senators (who don't want to stand again) to follow this Congressman's example.

Conspiracy twitter claiming Nashville bombing was done to wipeout servers with electoral votes evidence on it.

I bet someone is telling Twitter to pretend to be fucked to stop Trump saying it.

On the other hand, there's the guy that showed up with an automatic weapon blazing, hell bent on breaking up "Clinton's pedophile ring" headquartered at a pizza joint.

Too - 80% of Republican voters think that the 2020 election was subject to foul play.

And finally, the sitting President is entertaining the possibility of declaring martial law to overturn elections.

The false-narrative echo-chamber feedback loop is persuasive for perhaps 45% of Americans.

So long as truth and science no longer matters - to roughly 45% or so of Americans - Democracy in the USA is in peril.

Outvote them? That's a start... but is that enough?

They’re dying. Day by day they’re dying. They are asphyxiating themselves. I know it’s hard to be patient, but in a democracy there IS no other choice. Eventually they will do what they are already doing — turning on their own. And then they destroy themselves. Just. Like. Nixon.

Anyone think something might kick off with his rednecks on that day?
It will be their last-gasp attempt to convince Republicans in DC and the nation during the formal certification that we ignore them at "our peril." It will change nothing, whatever they say, whatever they do. It's the equivalent to a six-year old holding his breath until he gets what he wants while he goes around the living room smashing vases.

As long as Billy Bob doesn’t launch an RPG at the Capitol it’ll be reet.

I mean, what are Republicans in DC going to do? They're stuck with agreeing with Trump's insane ramblings and offering him unwavering support or getting primaried by some idiot nut job the next time they're up for re-election, unless they're safe from that (i.e. Sasse, Romney, etc.) And if they don't win Georgia they've been not emasculated but certainly had their wings clipped legislatively. Trump will announce his re-election bid on Inauguration day, and he'll be off to the races, with his cult demanding their representatives and senators immediately endorse Trump for President in 2024 or face their wrath at the ballot box. They've tied themselves to this; they are in no control of the direction they're headed.

Trump is going to lay waste to the Republican party, and possibly split it in two; I'm guessing there's a good chance he starts the Patriot Party (the first thing he hasn't named after himself). It will end as all 3rd party splits in the US do -- in humiliation.
