Mirror trying to unsettle Phil now.
For background, Neil Moxley is a Brummie fuckwit who barely has any contacts at Wolverhampton Wanderers, let alone City or Real Madrid

Not sure why our club is targeted for transfer fees , fair play the first few seasons we were bank rolled no doubt , but for the last five seasons we have spent what we have earned FFP has seen to that , the difference is our owners do not milk the profits like the Glazers , FSG Group and Kroenke . Sheik Mansour pours every penny back into MCFC and CFG. We should be the envy of the football world , because our profits go back into football and not to buy shopping malls.
The football world and the propaganda machine (media)is green with envy. Jealous supporters disguised as journalists who are bitter and bias towards everything we do. Achievements tarnished at any opportunity.

The jealousy and hypocrisy hit epic proportions during CAS. Blinded by hate and greed.

It is all fake news. We purchased players with money from our owner and then from our own commercial and sporting success.

Well done city for turning the corrupt cosy cartel on its face and taking a dump on its putrid corpse.

What total bollocks. The usual fake news from the Mirror with no quotes attributed to anyone. So Real Madrid with debts approaching £1bn Euros, according to their former President Ramon Calderon, who have been forced to sell Ronaldo and cut players' wages can afford Phil Foden. Neil Moxley is a total moron.

Foden is only going to put up with being benched for so long. He's to good to be sat on his arse.

In fairness, and context is everything, Edersons price was highlighted in the context of what a bargain it was at 34 million, similarly that was the case with Dias, highlighting what an excellent buy he is proving, and how few top class centre halfs there are available.

I know what your saying Frank but I don’t agree. Few would argue that VVD isn’t good value at 75m but it isn’t mentioned in the game.
No one can argue that City’s investment hasn’t been good but if they are the only team that continually has players transfers mentioned then it keeps the myth that they are the only ones spending & that we outspend others in the market.

he’s learning the game still, for his age he’s playing plenty, we’ve got so many games to play. It’s the continuous drip drip from commentators saying he should be playing yet those same people were saying how SAF was managing them perfectly.

That is true, but there is no need to mention a players fee at all.No other team in the league receives the same level of attention regarding their spending, and it only serves to keep up the narrative and present us in a negative light. When all else fails, its their go to stick of choice to beat us.

Andy fcukin mitten once again finding his way onto R5 live as a rag pundit and just in case you’re not aware his friend is Morgan Schneiderlin who he talks to everyday.

The **** has completely made every single word up. What a truly embarrassing way to earn a living.

Cannot disagree that the overall point about mentioning fees is correct but I must admit I never took it as a slant yesterday, when on other occasions It has come across as a pop.

Just out of interest on page 418 Pogba’s fee got mentioned in relation to trade talks and this was bemoaned as Pro-United by the poster. Do you see a difference?

Again, I cannot argue, it is a fair point. I Just never saw it as a slant yesterday, but quite rightly in view if its regular airing I can see why it could be taken that way,

I had the game on mute so I didn't have to put up with that geriatric and demented pervert Ian Darke. BT coverage is utterly toss, I'm glad I'm not paying for it.

Some LFC publication is going to town on it with lots more of the usual idiots on twitter.
It must have been on their Christmas wish lists.

Can someone remind me how much we paid for Torres as that's the only player Ian Darke didn't mention the fee for
He did discuss the fact that Pep's designer coat cost a lot although didn't know the exact price I expect he will have it by next game though

Is he being benched though?

He's part of squad rotation like 75% of players at the club. Without being arsed to check I'd imagine his minutes compare well to Bernie, Torres etc.

I read somewhere recently for his age he'd played more first team minutes than any of the raggy golden kids had at this stage of their careers and that he's the highest scoring British midfielder in all comps since 2018 that plays in the top division.

Interestingly Grealish has just been heralded for making 200 appearances for his hometown club by the age of 25.

he’d played 18 times by the time he was 20, Phil is on 92.

He should call up Brahim Diaz and ask how things are going.
