Premier League Games 26/27 December

Thats a shame. Wolves will definitely be in the market for a centre forward in January then. Any names being mentioned?

We have enquired about taking Luka Jovic on loan from Real Madrid

So pleased we rescued a point but could/should have been more. We are desperately missing Raul up top and we need a replacement in January. I like Silva but its too early in his career for him to take full responsibility. Another great game for Neto and some lovely skillful play from Podence. Neves better too

Pity Silva didn't put away that chance at the death.

No it's actually since the Palace game just before, they took the lead early on then sat back the entire second half and conceded a late equaliser, an alleged title contender defending a 1-0 lead against a team that went on to lose 7-0 to Liverpool and 3-0 to 10 man Villa, just pathetic. and you'd think Mourinho would learn but no he tries to do the same tonight and gets the same result, and even against the dippers they couldn't hang on to a draw and lost to a 90th minute header, very spursy I guess.
If fans were actually allowed in the ground they would turn on him in no time & fuckin rightly too....

Wow that would be a great deal if you could pull it off

Couldn't have asked for a much better set of results these last two days. united, Leicester, Chelsea, Liverpool and spurs all dropping points whilst we win. a few more losses would have been better but that's just being greedy. let's hope for another similar set of results in the next few days to put us right in the mix.

Such a bonkers season.

Excluding the first couple of weeks most of the games have become fairly drab, but it's making the table so changeable - a few weeks back us and United were dwelling towards the relegation places, yet win the games in hand and we're 2nd and 3rd ahead of Spurs who have been bigged up all season.

Simply put no one really looks very good this season.

the game is at a very strange level and fitness and injury are the 2 main problems as well covid-19 restrictions
because of no pre-season and a fast turn around from last season the fixtures are crazy and players are just human after all

the mental side of this covid-19 pandemic is also in the players mind and football is just a game at the end of the day
motivation and the willingness is key and teams are finding hard to find any sort of form. away games must be a nightmare for players travailing and staying over in hotels and being locked up ?

for me that extra 10% the better players have with skill and magic over the normal players has gone or short on view and its like 1 game in 5 they show up ? no outstanding team or players standing out its just like the run of the mill stuff teams are producing at the moment
