Everton (A) | Game Postponed

I said when Walker and Jesus tested positive that this would spread through the squad, i would be surprised if the Newcastle squad don't have to cancel their next game as well.
Exactly. Players could of had it in that game against Newcastle (even though they tested negative) it takes 2-3 days for it to appear in the person I believe?

Issue is where does that leave Newcastle. I am pretty sure someone who tested positive now played that game and it could be an issue of false negatives/long incubation period.

well, the rest of the squad given it's 2 days since the game so it could have spread round the dressing room on Saturday and we get a raft of new positive in 3 days time. Really troubling time.

I suspect we might be looking at an enforced winter break for a few weeks - no bad thing part from the fixture pile up. England should bin the Euros if that happens, but of course they won't and we'll have four games a week :-(

Hopefully players fully recover. I see the ‘Pools panel’ deciding the league this year.

oh well ! league must be called off now but fa will only do so when the red shirt players test positive. It’s not a rocket science ffs

Its not a good look for the club.

Someone or some people somewhere has been doing what they want.

It's not good for the club full stop; although I'm sure it's got nothing to do with the club failing to take appropriate precautions.

And there's no guarantee that anyone at City has done something "wrong".

Without the slack of the summer, all it takes is one or two more clubs to have similar outbreaks and we are very much looking at an unfinished season.
