We stayed in the Beach Hotel and just before it in the road down from the strip on the left we saw a lad of about 12 in a City shirt. His parents owned the bar and his mum came from Manchester area so you might know the family.
I am just reading a book called 'things will get feta which says many times the Greeks never obey rules so good for them over Covid.
I have avoided going out for months mainly because l am vulnerable but also because l get snotty with rule breakers out and about.
Enjoy the good life, you lucky bugger.

Harry Kane dived and cheated to try and get a penalty against Wolves towards the end of the match.

The commentator, can't remember his name, flagged it up, and said the football authorities needed to take action against this increasing behaviour.

My point. He couldn't bring himself to say, *Harry Kane has just tried to get a penalty by cheating and diving*.

When was the last time your heard a commentator say that about a player? They are too scared to say it as it is. They are too worried about upsetting the player, the manager, the club, and getting hauled in by their bosses.

This was most notable on 5Live. They had a decent commentary pair on, but when Fabio Silva went down they said he dived about 5 or 6 times. When Kane did it, they just couldn't bring themselves to say the word. They'd say it was just like Silva earlier on but just couldn't say that one word.

Yeh but chelsea needed too
Tyler: "Yes, good point Alan Smith, and well done to the Chelsea board, for backing the manager like that"

It's a different world for some teams. You have to ask, since when did Chelsea join the "'istory club"? They've less than any of the big 6, pre-billionaire-takeover.

The slack they've been given for the money Abramovich has 'loaned'-pumped into the club this past season(can't seem to find the article, was it £400m or am I way off?), is another thing that would have been treated entirely differently, if it were City.

Likewise for the £100m worth of players they were somehow able to bring into the club during their transfer ban. It was almost as if they knew one was coming.
