ITV local news reporting that City postponed their match with EFC last night. This statement just isn't correct. Had they said "City had their game postponed . . . ." or The EFC v MCFC game last night was postponed . . . . . " then it would have been a truer reflection on how games are postponed. Whether it was just shitty reporting, or a swipe at City won't be clear, but the message has gone out - It was City wot did it!!

Good post cancel all cup competitions including champions league. Have a two week break and finish the league. There should be enough timeI don’t see why this situation means that football should be stopped for good. It could be ages before they could resume and some players such as de bruyne lose their peak years before they can restart. Furthermore the lower league sides which are struggling more would most probably fold. By continuing there has to be an acceptance that at some point there could be delays/issues such as that we now have.
they should have got rid of the domestic cups this year possibly even Europe to allow some flexibility/minimise travel.
what I cannot understand is how anyone could not realise that it is not just a matter of 14 players being available but knowing you have 14 players who are negative. The idea that you can play a reserve or under 18 side that will be negative is fanciful. That’s why it is clearly bias as it is completely irrational.

Just bump the CL into a 2 week tournament in a host location at the end of the season if needs be. It worked well and if needs be they could use the same location for the Euros and set up the bubbles ready for them.
