Yeah kinda what i thought. Furlough being extended to April tells a tale

Yep. I meant it totally as an example til that nob derailed my point

pubs
Social clubs
Local History meetings
Bridge clubs.

not “going on the piss” as i was totally misquoted by victor meldew
Grow up Marcus with your silly petty insults.

As I said, we all want normality asap, but whilst, has been pointed out, pubs form part of that normality, families and loved ones and safety of each and everyone of us is surely the highest priority.

If we disagree on priorities, fair enough

How do you read it. Both vaccines to be 12 weeks apart?
The announcement is for Astrazeneca only. The dose regime is two full doses 4-12 weeks apart.

I can't see why Pfizer regime would change.

Edit: You are right. I am watching the announcement and they are changing dose schedule for both vaccines. 4-12 weeks apart for both vaccines.

Youre still mis-quoting me. Whilst you continue to do that im not engaging with you.

If I have misquoted you then apologies. I obviously read your post to mean something different

as a complete neutral in this debate about pubs between you and marcus and with no leanings to either poster, can i say i think you got this one completely wrong. perfectly reasonable to link opening of pubs to a bit of normaility. does not make you rab c nesbitt.

lets leave it now! ok

File this with Russia under reporting death total for least shocking news of the week..

‘Wuhan's population is estimated at 11 million, which suggests that almost 500,000 people may have had the virus.
If true, that is almost 10 times higher than Wuhan's officially recorded number of 50,354 cases.’
I wonder if they were also lying about the number of deaths....

Ideally the older people will get the Pfizer one as this has the most data for over 55’s. Sounds like the Oxford one will get more data for that age group in January.

I want/need light at the end of the tunnel. NORMALITY! Im sure im not alone. Its been a struggle.
All i asked was when people think that normality will creep back with the fantastic news of today.

not “going on the piss”. Just a glimpse of normality

It’s not a case of not catching it if fit and healthy but unlikely to require any treatment and that’s if you even notice you’ve got it. Wouldn’t surprise me if the squad members with it have very few symptoms or feel really ill but just are known to have it as being routinely tested.

There's an American footballer by the name of Myles Garrett. A physical specimen, if there ever was one. It has hit him like a hammer. He constantly looks out of breath and is having 'lung therapy'. I also thought two Newcastle players have not played since November due to suffering with the virus.

yes - effectiveness now cited at 22 days-4 months (was what I heard, anyway).
Hence it can now be much longer interval, meaning the first net is much wider with 80% efficacy.

Thanks. Makes sense. So my father in law is getting dose 2 next week. Wonder if that will be delayed.

I’ll leave it now and ill also offer a hand shake to mossside too

This journo (Sky or Sun, I forget which) demanding that unpublished data is published so the public can understand what there is - that's mad, as a very significant number won't understand the data.

It'll be published when it's published.

Pfizer vaccine confirmed to not be an issue for anyone with allergies.
