Oh this is a big shame. Thought the plan was to have millions ready. Fingers crossed it can scale quickly!

I have lived on Merseyside so I am livid not because of the apparent favouritism but because if cases rocketed in GM whilst in tier 3 how exactly are they going to stop those on Merseyside where they are already going up and have been higher than GM in past week or two? They needed tier 4 to be ahead of the virus - NOT - as we seem to be every single time - two steps behind it.

Exactly. This isn't favouritism (though it may be seen as such) it's a death sentence for some on Merseyside.

Can someone help me with the rules please.
My girlfriend is in a tier 4 area (northwich)
I am Trafford (tier 4). We both live alone and have formed a support bubble.
I wanted to spend NYE with her tomorrow evening. I've looked at the rules and I'm not sure whether I am allowed to go.
It mentions if you form a support bubble you can meet am I correct?
Should have made some commitment by now and moved in with her.
