I don’t suppose for one minute that he considered a letter from several interested parties in the same market, attempting to influence an impartial judicial body to come to a beneficial (for them) decision, whatever the evidence told them, to be in any way ‘influencing’ the sport’s governance.

To be honest I read the original piece and thought they were clearly implicating UEFA as the party who are the governors although it's written in an unusual way as if to imply wrongdoing on our part. Holds no surprise as it's a narrative I've become very tired of.
De looney and his minions believing their words are above crtisism or reproach is typical of a modern day twatter writer and their faux indignation.
Syed is a different matter and quite rightly should be rebuked at every opportunity to make his rooftop apology. He should try taking his head out if his arse and looking at the world through something other than his own prism for a more rounded view. Not that I would care, I care less about what he has to say than gibberish on talk sport and I never listen to that.

Ridiculous if all of that stacks up - I quite like the idea of the 'alternative' paper that would immediately highlight the double standards of their reporting.........

The previous Rothmere was a big fan of Adolf One Ball along with Disney and Max (S&M) Moseley's dad Oswald leader of the British Union of Fascists.

Moseley was locked up for the War but 'earned' a knighthood or other honour for 'charity' work. Who'd a think it?

On a point of information,Mosley was a baronet. He did not "earn" his "Sir" he inherited it.

His family had long connections with Manchester, originally coming from Hough End Hall, Chorlton. They were in fact Lords of the Manor of Manchester for many years. Hence Mosley Street in town, which we have all walked down.

Their former family seat, Rolleston Hall in the village of Rolleston on Dove, not far from St George’s Park and Burton on Trent, was razed to the ground. I used to live nearby and only a gatehouse remains

This is yet another 'mistake' your football department keeps making regarding anything to do with Manchester City from stating City are state own to not knowing that the Manchester City keeper won the golden glove award for 19/20.
I really dont care who crooks thinks is the best keeper , couldnt care less. BUT he should only print the TRUTH Alison didnt not win the golden gloves award. We are still waiting for the story from Rob Harris. He asked Pep if he had been paid "off book" ie tax evasion or some sort of FFP dodge by the club. So where is the evidence from Harris? He made a public accusation against Pep at the press conference following us winning the treble (quadruple)
What was his motive to do this at a public press conference? If he was a genuine reporter with a genuine story why would he give that exclusive story to all his rivals at a press conference?
It was designed to humiliate Pep and damage his reputation. Harris is totally unprofessional. A professional would never make a serious allegation like that unless he had the story ready to go. So where is the story?
Harris is an attention-seeking narcissist. The fact that City let this incident go is pathetic in my view. Posing the accusation as a question does not protect him from action. In a civil action the onus would be on Harris to prove his allegations were true. We could have finished his career.
