Fairs but you said wolves were a decent team and they are 13th in league and Southampton are a better team than them this season(atleast till now)

I think we have to start winning some of the games against the better teams. We are struggling to beat the teams at the top.

I think this one will be a big indicator whether we’re going to be in the title race. When we won their 3 seasons ago we know we were real contenders. The last two seasons we’ve been pretty poor at Stamford Bridge, playing only in fits and starts and wasting chances. A win tomorrow sets a marker for the season.

They’re struggling for form so we need to start well and stop them growing into the match. They’re probably going to play like Spurs did, hopefully we’ll be better at the back and take any chances that come our way. I don’t really rate Giroud but he always causes us problems for some reason and he’ll probably play tomorrow. Stones and Dias have been excellent so far, hopefully another clean sheet tomorrow.

Lampard seems very confident ahead of the game the way he’s talking, no silly mistakes from us and we should be ok I think.

Our record at Stamford Bridge isn't that bad in recent years, We won their under Mancini, Pellegrini and Pep.

We haven't won at Anfield since Keegan.

Agreed. Unfortunately, the period where we were head & shoulders above our competitors with world class players right through the spine of the side has passed. We are now 'in the mix' but not clear favourites for anything.
