Would you expect a game not to be played if one side had five injuries? The rules state you can play if you have 14 available players, the reason the Everton game was postponed was that a late increase in positive COVID tests created uncertainty as to whether there was more and thus there was a risk we could infect the Everton squad. This is the reason why Fulham fixtures continue to be postponed.

Don’t think anyone knows for sure. The only confirmed ones are Walker, Jesus and Ederson. Rumours that Tommy Doyle and Torres could be the others.

The biggest miss for us will be Ederson. Ageuro and Cancelo will cover for Gabriel and Walker

If Torres is also out then we will be fine. The rest are EDS players if I am not mistaken so basically we are still okay

We just need Steffen to step up and maybe avoid distribution from the back! :)

Hope so ric , he’s looked really good last few games in that hybrid position between defence and midfield

I don't think Cancelo and Mahrez can play together. I would rather see Sterling on the right and Bernardo or Foden on the left.

Please don't compare the line up for Lyon to now. Garcia, Laporte, Ferna, Gundo and Rodri in the same team!!! It was setup for us to lose

If we line up like we did against Newcastle with Stone and Diaz + Ake acting as a 3rd center back and Cancelo playing fluid right back and right midfield then we will have a strong set up along side Gundo and Rodri in the middle
 
Huge game this we haven’t won on the road against any of the so called big six since the Emirates in December 2019 in the premier league. We will know by Wednesday evening if this team fancies it this year. Get a result today and keep within striking distance of the top and progress to another league cup final, big big week.

Well Paul, I see you like to focus on the negative side of things. IF he has done what the Sun says he has done then he is a complete fool, just like the 4 spurs players and all the others who have fucked about during Covid. IF he has done what that rag says then I think he is fucking stupid.

Honestly Mendy has not been in the mix for a while now and we don't know what is going on with him on a personal level. Also the report in the news is blown out of proportions and it sounds like he had a huge party which he didn't.

Yes he breached the COVID rules and he apologised and City will investigate and decide what to do. But Foden recently also broke the rules and he apologised and everything is back to normal! And Foden is more important of a player than Mendy at the moment so I am not too bothered about Mendy cause we have Ake and Cancelo and even Chenko!
 
Have to win this. Chelsea aren't that good and we were just building up momentum before the postponed game.

Be a big mistake to not go in with a right back against pulisic and chillwell coming down there left
