Yes, I notice from your age that you will have very clear memories of the three of them. At 48 I instead have very clear memories of 35 years of winning nothing! Of course I have read and watched some footage but it could never be the same.

Media/Sky/Premier league pressure is the reason the game is going ahead , we made enough enemies over the Neverton fiasco , the sensible option was to close everything down at the club for the ten days required.
But common sense goes out the window when ££££££ is involved , and probably our club also considered the potential fixture pile-up. But i think our club should have made a stand and insisted on a shut down to the Premier league and EFL , give them a decision to make , if they force us to play its on their heads.
But if we do lose to Chelski and the Rags the knives will be out for Pep again .job done , headlines for the next few days sorted.

Because we’ve got more than 14 players confirmed as Covid free.

Against Everton there was a concern that there was an outbreak wider than those tested positive but subsequent tests came back negative. Same applies to Fulham today.

Biggest risk today to the match going ahead today is with Chelsea.

We have enough to beat Chelski they are not on a great run of form at the moment , but a draw would not be the end of the world , the derby game is more important to me , we need to nip their new found optimism in the bud and confirm Manchester is and always has been BLUE.

It's unfair but just like some fans being present and not others, it's just part of the way that the PL and FA have made one dog's breakfast of governing the game since last February.

I've just had to give the last part of yer post a tweek so that it more accurately reflects the current situation.

I doubt that there is one person in the game, player, manager, club, fan, whistling wanker, maladministrator who has the slightest flying fuck as to what is going on, anywhere within the game.
