His best speech to date and more serious tone. Glad he mentioned the domestic abuse too.

I do agree that this was his best briefing to date, no arm waving and repeating the same old strap lines.

I liked his tone as it did come across how serious this issue is.

The common man doesn't need to know the percentages and fractions in order to get the message.
Again puts the responsibility onto the people - follow the rules or it'll be your fault.
Shifting the vaccination target into a set of narrower groups, making it harder to fail (again).

Absolutely. Time for the country to take this seriously now as a whole and finally get through this. It’s going to be a grim 2/3 months but this should give us the opportunity now to get infection rates down and get the key workers and vulnerable vaccinated. It need us all to do our bit and follow the rules and now needs the government to deliver on the targets to get the top 4 tiers vaccinated. No excuses now and needs everyone to stick together and support this.
