Pretty sure this next month, what led us here, is what they will be teaching the next generation about in history.

Put it another way, didn't watch any of the first half.

Something's transcend governments, parties, the decades. Our lifespans. There are many reasons for things. Sometimes the arguments are like stacks of cards. Each underpinned by something deeper, harder to avoid underneath.

The cards;

The individual's right to life.

and

Society's ability to protect it's citizens.

are right at the bottom. Right down there. Nothing we talk about comes close. Like the talk before the game. The window dressing of the house rather than the foundations you build on. New curtains! OMG!

If you think there's historically or philosophically any other reason given for the existence of goverment, society, infrastructure - anything you can see - I'm probably now going with that being understandable, as the odd generation in the past has made the same mistake, and lost perspective to a degree that baffles and worries people for decades.

We actually did this review once, last century? Were they wrong? Or did we just get waylaid? Allow ourselves to believe the lessons didn't apply to us, that the truths at the bottom had changed?

'Beware the card sharps!'

Even the flipping medieval townsfolk knew that much!

I enjoyed Banquo at school.

My god, thats a 50% increase, absolutely huge

Ireland gone from 700 odd cases to nearly 5,000 in a week. May be some sort of catch up at play I've no idea, but even still.

Well Greater Manchester rose by 472 today to 1665. Highest in some time.

But unless you are in Wigan, Stockport or Trafford - who all had terrible days - the rest of GM was OK and Salford was best of the day.

Stockport actually almost had more than Manchester and as I have been saying all week is in a big mess right now.

Wigan DID beat Manchester - easily - and had a catastrophic day. 300 more than it was getting 3 weeks ago. And iuts highest in many weeks.

Trafford had a record case total and Pop Score rise today - so despite Stockport having terrible numbers Trafford actually LOST ground on the overall Pop Score battle with Stockport.

FOUR boroughs today had over 200 but three were under 100. And most places are now up there where they were months ago heading towards the red watch lists again. Though well below the Southern places that dominate them.

No question though that the NW is the worst impacted region by far from the new superspreader outside the south.

Yet despite all of this the GM % of the NW total FELL to its lowest yet - 26.9%.

Because many other places in the NW had terrible days too.

And I think you may suspect where they are.

That odd place called Tier 3 which is apparently where we put places that have the worst numbers.

Fully expect Wigan, Stockport and Trafford to have done enough to qualify for this 'demotion' on government logic.

To be fair he always provides the science. His videos are really worth a watch and apolitical.
I have watched a couple of his videos and would certainly agree that he is apolitical and an effective communicator.
Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses and a personal opinion is that analysis of drug studies is not one of his strengths. Haven't seen his Ivermectin video though.

LIVERPOOL 592 cases - double where it was last week, triple where it was 2 weeks ago and the highest in the months I have been tracking it.

A Pop Score rise of 119. One of the biggest in the UK. And higher than the worst in GM today which was Wigan that went up by 103 for many fewer cases than Liverpool.

The Wirral again was worse with a record total of 303 and a Pop Score rise of 144. One of the biggest in the UK this week.

Wirral is having TEN times the number of cases it had in early December.

The rise of Merseyside over the past 3 weeks has been blatant, obvious and worse than anytrhing in GM and for the governent to have kept them in Tier 3 whilst putting GM in Tier 4 was flabbergastingly stupid because nobody will take these tiers remotely seriously given that kind of absurdity.

We need NATIONAL unity not tiers that simply work against the needs of a pandemic by creating division, perceived unfairness and allow areas to explode when people go there to get around the harsher rules somewhere nearby.

Cannot understand why they have let this go on as long as they have.
