Every f*cking live game from Klanfield (and MOTD highlights), they always crank up the effects mic's at the Kop end when their shitty Scouse sing-along is piped over the PA at ear-splitting levels. BT, Sky, BBC; all the f*cking same.

C*NT'S!
i hate people that don't have an opinion

not a patch on that gold brick of an owner Swales. I think this Abu Dhabi lot have proved themselves to be excellent owners, probably the best of the Johnny Foreigner Brigade by a country mile. Not just for our club but also Manchester. An unintended by product of their success is the exposure of the football cartels and unattractive side of our 'popular' clubs, the ones with history. Long may our current owners reign

Gerry Marsden tribute at the end of MOTD last night........
Thought the same. Nauseous.

Also had a touch of the “we are at war with Eastasia; we have always been at war with Eastasia” about it too, given how ubiquitous the song was in the 70’s and the fact it was Celtic fans who originally started singing it.

Aside from everything else he is a dreadful writer. I was given his book on the Summerbees when I was recuperating from a broken leg and it was even more painful than the injury, one of the dullest books I’ve ever read
Hi Dave funny how you've never mentioned before about breaking your leg in a cup final

Anyone talking about "Oil Money" should go for a walk around East Manchester and see what "Oil Money" has done for the city

Hes not the only one
"Earlier this year, I tried to interview Svennis for the Guardian. Paul Tyrrell, the spokesman for Manchester City, told me that the Guardian would never get an interview with him because we had shown a lack of respect."

Come back Paul, all is forgiven.

For better it worse, oil makes the world go round metaphorically speaking. If it ran out tomorrow, civilisation would collapse in the blink of an eye.

Hopefully humanity can move away from that state of affairs eventually, but as things stand that’s the fucking truth.

He had been through a hard time as it happens. In a short space of time his first wife and his best friend, Jack Rosenthal, both died of cancer which hit him very hard.

But some gobshite City fan had a response published. Bit cringeworthy really: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1206137/You-wrong-Colin--love-City.html
Remember that, you absolutely nailed the man there, especially his self indulgent nostalgia for a sepia-tinted age when the players caught the same bus to the game as the fans
