Also, there are not many residents of Newton upon the Heath who are capable of reading the adventures of Pepa Pig, never mind a news paper.

Is it the word “massive”?

Surely it’s possible the author just used the word without actually being a prick? The word does fit.

All it said was a played a massive 492 games for us.

There’s absolutely no way of knowing that was a dig or not.

I think it was clearly a dig but there is no way of proving it and the Mail will have an easy "get out." All decent football fans (not just City) know how toxic the sports media has become. If you look at the comments under the story you will find the usual snide references to the "Colin Bell" stand but there are also many more positive comments from rival fans (including Liverpool and United fans) about Colin Bell. Those are the ones I focus on.

There were some making a massive thing about the word 'but' used in a headline a few days back on here, I must admit this one does have me wondering a bit more on their intent.

Sadly this is the point where it’s got to for some of these opinion bloggers, that they will be disrespectful to us even when it’s a matter of death. They’re literally at war with us.

These scum bags have bastardised their profession and it’s a profession that they use to influence millions. They are the lowest of the low.
