It was ridiculously high and dangerous; at the very least it was grossly reckless.I know completely changing the event to make it sound like it was Bells fault when we all know that twat buchan sythed him down
You Newton Heath Daily Mail readers do my head in.The Mail I think.
Jackson has a funny way with words to describe that tackle then.It was ridiculously high and dangerous; at the very least it was grossly reckless.
tbf, he’s not very good with words.Jackson has a funny way with words to describe that tackle then.
A Solitary Man?I am what I am.
Must be a hindrance in the job he does you would think, sigh.tbf, he’s not very good with words.
I have my faults dear sir. Thankfully, one of them is not putting any of my money in the pockets of thr toxic msm.You Newton Heath Daily Mail readers do my head in.
That was precisely my point :-)Must be a hindrance in the job he does you would think, sigh.
You are such a snob!I have my faults dear sir. Thankfully, one of them is not putting any of my money in the pockets of thr toxic msm.
Also, there are not many residents of Newton upon the Heath who are capable of reading the adventures of Pepa Pig, never mind a news paper.
The number itself was sufficientAm I missing something?
Is it the word “massive”?
Surely it’s possible the author just used the word without actually being a prick? The word does fit.
I think it was clearly a dig but there is no way of proving it and the Mail will have an easy "get out." All decent football fans (not just City) know how toxic the sports media has become. If you look at the comments under the story you will find the usual snide references to the "Colin Bell" stand but there are also many more positive comments from rival fans (including Liverpool and United fans) about Colin Bell. Those are the ones I focus on.All it said was a played a massive 492 games for us.
There’s absolutely no way of knowing that was a dig or not.
I’m done with this conversation now mate. The number itself was sufficient
Massive wouldn’t normally be used for numbers anyhow
Nob XDToeing.
You say everyone else on here 100% thinks there is, yet in an earlier post you expressed your thoughts that nearly everyone wouldn't notice use of the word. Which is it?I’m done with this conversation now mate.
I don’t think there’s definite evidence that it was a snide dig and everyone else on here 100% thinks there is.
Not really much else to say.
There were some making a massive thing about the word 'but' used in a headline a few days back on here, I must admit this one does have me wondering a bit more on their intent.I’m done with this conversation now mate.

He's obviously referring to the few who have taken umbrage at it on here. The ones who wouldn't notice wouldn't be posting, would they. You say everyone else on here 100% thinks there is, yet in an earlier post you expressed your thoughts that nearly everyone wouldn't notice use of the word. Which is it?
That was obviously referencing general fans of other clubs and City fans that don’t spend a lot of time in this thread. You say everyone else on here 100% thinks there is, yet in an earlier post you expressed your thoughts that nearly everyone wouldn't notice use of the word. Which is it?
