Well played, Blue Boys. A fitting tribute to The King.

There was more excitement in the football two minutes of this match than there was in the whole of the last derby..


Foden started off like a house on fire, then Silky had a great spell, but John, and especially, Rúben, were brilliant throughout.

We thoroughly deserved the win: that fucking didn’t look like scoring.

It was a fantastic ball in from Phil for the first and a wonderful strike by Dinho for the second.

Some very nice words from Big John in his post-match interview.

Shout out for Gundo - he ran like Bernado all night and was still going strong at the end

Couldn’t agree more. I think this is the form

Imagine if the result and performance was the other way round and United won 2-0. It would have been Ole this Ole that immense etc blah blah..

Only negatives from that was Mahrez and Sterling continue to be very poor. Imagine if we'd been firing on 11 cylinders. Big shout out for Steffan great save early on and had a really good game. Zinchenko & Cancelo turned round wobbly first halves. Fern was everywhere.

Stones and Dias are so good that I honestly forget about Laporte entirely. Usually when he’s not there we are craving his return. He’s actually 3rd choice now and that’s a mad thought.

I thought raz tried & looked for the ball but Mahrez was very poor again. I just don’t get it with him. He’s clearly skilful but very lazy
