United (A) - League Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

The bitterness on Red Cafe is enjoyable....

“Only the Micky Mouse cup anyway, let Mourinho and spurs want over the thought of winning it. I bet the Sheikhs are thrilled that their multibillion quid playtoy is going to win the plastic cup 4 seasons in a row.”

Haha bless em, they haven’t won a trophy since 2017 and this was one of the last trophies they won. The self entitled twats taking trophies for granted when they can’t even win them.

I was a bit nervous thought City had slowed up after 35 mins, and the rags were going to get on top.
2 great performances this week!
I was slightly nervous after Chelsea to be honest. Knowing Sod's law with football...but we prevailed.

There was no point during that match despite a few below par performances that I felt we were ever threatened and I love that feeling when we play the rags.

The fact they had a decent amount of second half possession is because we allowed it. Stroll in the park.

Charming.

Seriously though all of us are responsible when it comes to lockdown and having no contact with others at the minute and if we have to always 2 mteres apart and masked, sanitizer at hand.

If we are not vacinated we have all agreed to cancel the booking as it isn't safe or sensible for 6 of us to share a room

Personally doubt we will be able to go but with free cancellation decided to book before everywhere is full or double the price.

Arrogance even today brushing off today's game..
Neville 'I would of went for a United win before I seen City on Sunday now i think its 50/50.
Neville 'Burnley away to go top isn't pressure, Sunday week at Anfield is going to be fun I genuinely believe it will be fun with the way United counter attack'.
Neville 'I never thought United could be in the position being title contenders, But we are'.

Back to their old ways getting giddy. The good thing about Ex Rags on TV they get mouthy and lead the gullible rag fans into a false sense of security that then comes back to bite them on the ass.

It's a different Foden we are looking against it, Foden has showed massive maturity in his performances both away at Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford he is showing a different side to his game in a way Pep can trust him.
I think Pep told him as much in the last two games when he came off the pitch

He is going to be a legend. Kevin is the captain though, but I can see exactly what you mean. What a difference Ruben has made!!!
I hate to put a negative spin on things but I don't think KDB is captain material yet. Ferdy was pulling at (Cancelo?) for reacting at Luke Shaw when talking to the ref, Ferdy was just as cool as you can get; that was being a captain. I think KDB is still a bit rash at the moment.
