You may want to look at the HJS. Look at Gove‘s involvement, Patel‘s role. The policies that they have proposed and how they have been endorsed by Johnson. Bannon has played a role in the development of this governments policies.
 
Watching the discussions on CNN this morning and Americans bubble bursting that they are as fucked up a nation as many others that is one wayward statememt from anarchy.


They have been smashing democracies round the world and toppling governments for decades while pretending to be the shining light, sucks when you find out the truth

I know what fascism looks like, I just don’t scream it at everyone, especially in the UK, when our government looks absolutely nothing like a fascist government... it’s you who struggles with it because you think it applies to everyone right of centre.

Johnson and Bannon has absolutely little to no evidence at all, in fact, the only evidence is very brief communication in 2016, after Trump won.

If you’re making the claim there was more, YOU need to provide the evidence.

But I suggest you don’t take away from events in America with your obsessive and pathetic Tory bashing.

The US have been in denial and turning a blind eye to Trumps crimes for 4 years and now reality is just starting to beckon. A few people suddenly realise they are on the wrong side of history.

That’s utter bollocks and the policies are nothing like Bannon’s when he was advising Trump.

Either provide evidence or sod off to the Tory thread, I am genuinely sick to death of this fabrication of our government being in bed with Bannon and fascism, it’s so boring.

Not saying take this article as gospel but there’s some evidence of a major shift in the UK Conservative Party - as it’s transitioned from the dull pillar of society to a radical challenger of the establishment. The 1970s Tory Party would have been horrified by Brexit, or the concept of our Government breaking International Law.

I have absolutely no idea where you dug that out from but it’s bollocks.
What can be said of a party that attracts both extreme wealth alongside the traditional Labour-voting working-class? Or when it attracts figures like Katie Hopkins and Tommy Robinson? Or when fascist organisations like Britain First urge their supporters to join its ranks (in December, Britain First claimed around 5,000 of its members had joined the Tory party)? While the party has pledged to enact left-wing policies and postured in a liberal direction, it has simultaneously aligned itself with a growing international cohort of right-wing strongmen and dictators – Trump, Bolsonaro, Netanyahu, Duterte, General Sisi, Orban, Modi and Erdogan.

I mean, this has turned out to be totally untrue. Hopkins and Robinson said vote Tory for purely Brexit. They and the BNP have absolutely zero influence, aren’t allowed to be members and aren’t even currently supporting the government.

In fact, the far right are almost all to a man anti Tory now because of their lockdown policies.

The party didn’t align itself with those people, it merely acting statesman-like to other leaders around the world.

Johnson actually has a very good relationship with Trudeau, didn’t see that mentioned.

Anyway, well done on you and @Vic derailing the thread.

If you want to respond, list in the Tory thread but I won’t speak about the Tories again in here whilst this shit is going on and American democracy is at risk.
 
There will be a whole new impetus to the Trump cult following the shooting of Ashli Babbitt. As she was an attractive white veteran she will be turned into a martyr for the Trumpists to rally behind. I bet she will be one of the first things Trump tweets about.

If she was scaling the wall, trying to break in, then what happened to her is a direct consequence of what you’d expect to happen.

No doubt they will try and turn this into some huge injustice and it’ll be used to further stoke the fires.

I can’t unfortunately see this calming down for a few weeks and it won’t until Biden takes over and starts to actually combat it as it needs to be.

Tell you what is tedious is the abusive language for no reason and people turning a blind eye to the fact that the people leading this country have aligned themselves with a racist bigot like Trump . Johnson , Gove , Rees Mogg and company are Complicit in being cheer leaders . Just as Trump has no morals or conscience his poodle over here is exactly the same .

I said fucking hell before my post, that’s not swearing at you not being abusive.

They haven’t aligned themselves, they’ve barely mentioned Trump for ages and it’s purely been on the basis for our relationship with the US.

I mean Bannon himself certainly seemed to think he was advising Boris. Not the party itself though.
