Holy shit...I did not expect so many responses. Trump is fucked, let me get that straight. Today has shown this more than ever. He cares only about himself.
My point was that people are so excited about Biden getting in but theyre set up for disappointment because the people who need help the most won’t get it. They never do. Both sides of politics have different policies but it ends up the same result if you are in a poor neighbourhood. Hence no need to be so violent, divisive and hateful cos youre only fucking yourself when you trash your own city. Both Biden and Trump will still sleep well at night no matter what suffering is going around them. Same shit, different administration...and the same discussions about being the best candidate for the poor will be had again in 4 years (all while hundreds of thousands still sleep on sidewalks across the country). Sad, scary but intriguing to watch this all unfold as a non American.
Peace, stay safe and please celebrate a derby win instead of getting annoyed by a random stranger on the internet.
I think Biden will be a breath of fresh air compared to that Twat Trump.

Difficult decision to make. Allow him to see out the remainder of his term in the hope that he won’t do anything further to exacerbate the situation, or remove him from office now as a precaution. The former could be construed as tantamount to condoning what has occurred, yet the latter is unparalleled and would show the gravity of the situation. To remove him now, less than two months after 74 million people voted for him, might also fan the embers across the individual states. As I say, a difficult decision, and neither choice is likely to accelerate a return to normality.

Who doesn’t Rees Mogg ??? OrJohnson ??
Steve Bannon might disagree.
Fucking hell, you’re actually mentioning Bannon and Johnson in the same sentence again.

This is absolutely tedious.

I know certain people are always looking for this angle but it does you absolutely no favours whatsoever.

Reading and seeing the Fox News reaction tonight, long term I don't see how American democracy survives much longer.

Tucker Carlson's position is that all this was justified because people don't *believe* the election was legitimate, and until they believe that it was that means that the election was, in fact, illegitimate. So now we're at the point where if someone doesn't like something they just have to say "I don't believe that' and it makes it so.
This just shows the circular cult that exists. If you show them to make them believe, they say it isn't true. You ask them to show their bit which disproves this and nothing is shown. To tell a lie, the things that are shown are anecdotal, never evidential and are vastly inflated to suit. Trump claimed there were 5000 dead voters in Georgia and it turned out to be 2 and those were thanks to an administrative error.

If you then counter that by saying well ours stands as correct because that's the only information we have then the argument shifts to rambling about Obama, Hiliary and basically anything else of total irrelevance to keep the narrative.

Even Republicans are turning on this now purely because they were told it was a fraudulent election, they investigated it and they couldn't find a fraudulent election.

Trumps next act is to instigate a coup within the Republican party and then take what's left by force. The only answer is to remove him by the 25th amendment or impeach him due to his continuous incitements. He doesn't care about deaths or that mob, he only cares about himself and that means he satisfies the criteria of being unfit for the presidency.

People are saying that impeachment would be better though because it bars him from holding office ever again. It would also seem to be the more suitable option. As I understand it, the 25th amendment is designed more to deal with a president who gets sick rather than one that is just a ****.
He is sick. He's mad.

What’s that proving?

Bannon sent Johnson a few texts after Brexit?

They’ve not spoken in years and only did so briefly.

I am really not surprised there’s the same opportunistic obsessives, using the chaos in America to some how have a pop at our government.

It really is pathetic.

You're trying too hard.
No Vic,I am telling the truth even if you don’t want to hear it.

Those rushing The Capitol last night are fascists, they’re not conservatives.

I know you’re desperate to pin this on anyone mildly right wing or the Tory government but I’m not going to let you get away with it.

Did Bannon not get paid by the Conservative party to work on their election strategy?

Don't be sily. I don't need chaos in America to have a pop at our government. But if you don't connect Trump Bannon Cummings and Johnson, then it's no wonder yesterday surprised you and finally got you to realise what fascism looks like.
