Tim "Paulinho better than Fernandinho" Vickery already hyping up a RAG bound player (Moises Caicedo) as the new Colin Bell, on SSN.
I heard his brother on Talksport, Tim "I don't rate Zabaleta" Vickery.

On the coach coming back from Wembley after we had beat the Dippers in the League Cup Final the driver had a random radio station on, news then sport which after rambling on about all the days different events had the last part as:Or when we've won, it is just totally ignored. I don't remember any sports coverage on Monday after we beat Chelsea and there was none today after we beat the rags. So we have a national TV news programme which we pay for but not one snippet of a semi final of a major tournament. It was mentioned on the local news though.
He talks shite, builds up every player coming from South America and more often than not he's wrong but even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then.I heard his brother on Talksport, Tim "I don't rate Zabaleta" Vickery.

"Liverpool failed in their quest to win the League Cup today"
That was it, nothing else to add on the biggest event of that particular day.

Marcus Rashford named most expensive player in the world
The Manchester United forward has been named the most expensive player in the world by CIES Football Observatory.www.bbc.co.uk
Imagine the price if he got knighted, the disingenuous t##t.Read that myself and spat my coffee out.
Dare I say it but the most coverage & compliments we’ve received where from Neville & Keane for both games, although there is the mitigation of not wanting to deflate their own, I laugh when the rag pundits titter about their own performances & results, and last night was no different, it’s as if they know the squad is brittle/fragile and any kind of criticism will finish them off so they hold back until they are completely out of the picture. The facts are only one team has moved forward since our last fixture (which we where lambasted for) and it ain’t them & they know it! Now they will try building us up for others to knock downOr when we've won, it is just totally ignored. He doesn't seem to integrate within the team - Is he a striker (if so not enough goals) Is he winger (not enough crosses) - His position is best described as the old fashioned inside right with Martial the other bookend of inside left - both equally lacking at the level United want to attain.

a lot on here including me was a fan early doors ? we thought with pep maybe he could have done something with him because he was raw and fast. but now i very much doubt it because he goes missing far to much and goals are not coming fast enough to judge him in a pep team
Or a perfectly delivered free kick by foden ......He talks shite, builds up every player coming from South America and more often than not he's wrong but even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then.
That’s got me worriedI don't get it. The adulation over our beating United is overwhelming in all the papers. Even Talkcrap was praising us to the high hills.
The slot at 0640 had a fair mention of both the tribute to Colin and the match. But not until Naga Munfuckingchetty introduced the sports specialist by her telling him how big and important any Manchester Derby is but this one was more so because of Colin death and all the players wore shirts with number 8 on blah blah. How you know when united have lost.
Stick on BBC breakfast and the usual sport slot just after half 8 is no longer there!
We have modernised as a club but are more embedded in our community than ever and much more than we were when that crook Swales ran things.I've always felt that our recent successes were reported fairly even handedly on regional news at least. That changed and I think it was the fourmidables season where as if a switch had been flicked the local sports jocks started following the standard media narratives.
CAS everyone and his dog got their pants pulled down cos they didn't even entertain the possibility that we were innocent.
TBF Granada led with Colin's passing and a decent tribute. BBC had I felt a rather cursory feature in their sports roundup. Both programmes featured interviews with Dennis Tuart and Joe Corrigan.
Saw a perfunctory item on the match on Breakfast. By the time the next sports roundup was being trailed the lead headline was on how grassroots sport wo would survive in the pandemic.
I think we have a lot to complain about in terms of how we're portrayed. It's not unreasonable to expect fair unbiased reporting but as we've seen it depends on who you are.
I say screw it don't lose any sleep on what these prats think of us. Glory in the way we played last night and how we celebrated our greatest player.
People can make snide comments about how we have changed as a club: well look at the way John Stones Phil Foden and Pep spoke last night. All clubs have history and we are proud of ours.
