'Targets of interest' will be very closely monitored by federal agencies. Turning their phones to Airplane mode may not be as effective as they think it is for disguising their location.

No, you proved your own point. You posted a theory without evidence. Show me the evidence that the spear-point of Trump supporters are using to conclude that the election was fraudulent, rigged, stolen. Then we can discuss whether the problem is that the rest of us aren’t listening to this evidence. The problem is isn’t that we are “cancelling” them as people, it’s that they have evidence to support their beliefs that can be debunked — easily. Why should we listen?

Here's some lies that show why I shouldn't be jailed........

Watching that reinforces my view that Trump is a terrible strategist who has very poor judgement. What the fuck did he expect to happen on Wednesday, following his incendiary words? - and what the fuck did he expect the wider response to be to that? The juxtaposition of words there, with those of earlier this week, are a clear recognition of the reality of the latter (with the former irresistibly associating him with that) which he clearly did not appreciate previously. It isn’t especially complicated.

It was the same with the pandemic. He conspicuously failed to recognise the real threat Covid presented to American society and to deal with it in a way that could have enhanced his electoral prospects, not extinguished them. His misread something over which he had little or no control, because he spectacularly failed to appreciate it as such.

It is clear from the above that it was very much to America’s benefit (as well as the wider world) that he wasn’t a bellicose President, because as Commander-in-Chief, possessing such pitiful judgement, and a complete absence of any strategic acumen, he almost certainly would have led the US to military disaster.

A bit, dare I say it, like Hitler did with Germany.
