I see Mike keegan has called out sky’s impartiality when covering the Southampton v Liverpool match in the daily fail. It was only 2 short paragraphs but nevertheless a surprise.

“Those who tuned into Sky's coverage of Liverpool's Monday night trip to Southampton could be forgiven for believing they were watching the Merseyside club's in-house channel - because they were”.

“A gushing homage to Thiago Alcantara, who made his first start since October 17 in the 1-0 defeat, was lifted straight from LFCTV and broadcast to the nation, leading some to question the broadcaster's wisdom and impartiality”.
I think i flagged that up at the time how nauseating it was to put that in when he was only returning from injury.
Glad somebody in the press is as paranoid as me :)

More & more 'journalists' are saying that City fans can't take a bad word against their club and are paranoid - this may be true in some cases - but please tell me why the press won't criticise Liverpool at all and when the odd one does have a go he is immediately reprimanded or replaced.

We all know why they don't, just ask Colin Mafham if you are unsure

No-one is allowed to mock the afflicted, especially in these over-PC times.

As a club, absolutely.
As fans, we fight them wherever and whenever we see or hear bullshit against our team. I love it that toe rag journalists see us as weaponised and Rabinised. Bring the fkrs down word by word, line be line.
No because it makes us look like cultists and Kopites.

If thousands of City fans are abusing someone for giving Dias a B+ on Twitter, it’s going to make us look like complete freaks and any legitimate further grievances won’t be taken seriously.

Interesting point but Looking like cultists and kopites hasn’t done much harm to the Liverpool football club on and off the field has it ?

BBC have just released an article on why new man United signing Diallo is reminiscent of Ronaldo.

Curious I clicked the link, only to see that they spend most of the article listing the differences and finish off by quoting an ex coach who says he needs to add a few kilos of weight. As Lukaku, Shaw and others will testify, he's certainly gone to the right club then. All he needs to know is when to dive and when to shove a Big Mac in his face.
To me it’s the ultimate click bait article. No substance to back up the headline.

No but they’re a big cash cow, we aren’t... so City fans kicking off is less intimidating than Liverpool.

He probably doesn't but he sure hates us.

Does he? He's the only journalist in the country that defied Liverpool's legal threats to do an exclusive series on their hacking us, and demanding a PL investigation.

Odd thing to do for someone who hates City.

Sorry mate but you don't know him, and if you've read his City coverage and think he's biased then I think you've been on Bluemoon too long and need to give yourself a break.
I’m perfectly entitled to express an opinion, just as you have countless times about people you haven’t met.

Where did I say he was biased? I’ve never said he was biased, just poorly informed and/or grossly incompetent.

At the time City was suffering from an existential crisis, he chose to report on us in a way that undermined the club - due (at the very least) to his manifest and abject failure to properly avail himself of the facts, whilst closely aligning himself with those who sought to destroy us. That’s the reason I said fuck him. Who he supports has nothing to do with that sentiment.

And seeing as you brought it up, as to me spending too much time on here and/or for too long, maybe that’s true, but by any objective measure, since joining this place ten years ago, when I was bankrupt and broken, I’ve achieved more with my life than most folk can even dream of, including, I’ll say with absolute confidence, Sam Lee - and so I’m entirely comfortable about where this place sits within the context of my wider life.

So whilst you may know him personally, just because you do, doesn’t mean you’re right about him either - and the fact he’s a United fan has absolutely fuck all to do with any of it.

I saw that this morning, innocently placed in amongst the football match reports, it was the only non-match story on the page, I was on my mobile phone, I read a paragraph and shut it down as the pile of fluff filler it deserved.

Fair play and I could be getting my Martin's mixed up, perhaps Lipton? However I've heard him being less than complimentary towards us in the past.
