I love the Studio Ghibli films (Spirited Away is one of my favourite animations) but haven’t seen many anime series. But I did enjoy Death Note and Elfen Lied.I like anime and that is on my list. Are you a general anime fan per chance?

Ah I keep meaning to make my way through SG, although I did watch Spirited Away last year when they all came to Netflix. I also watched Grave of the Fireflies on Plex, which is an extremely sad and gut-wrenching movie.I love the Studio Ghibli films (Spirited Away is one of my favourite animations) but haven’t seen many anime series. Grave of the Fireflies is brutal. I won’t deny crying at the end.Ah I keep meaning to make my way through SG, although I did watch Spirited Away last year when they all came to Netflix. I also watched Grave of the Fireflies on Plex, which is an extremely sad and gut-wrenching movie.
Never seen Elfin Lied but Death Note is fantastic.
I didn't outright cry but I had a tear in my eye. It's such a sad film.Grave of the Fireflies is brutal. I won’t deny crying at the end.
The Serpent anyone? Jumps about a bit with some of the history but I found it really interesting. Good job the guy is still behind bars and likely to stay there.

I loved every single moment up until the last series when it went flat on me. Not sure if it was different script writers or too much of the same leaving me all vikinged out :-(Got to say. I'm bloody enjoying Vikings
Excellent taste in music sirI’m watching Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure on Netflix. I had forgotten how much I love Yes’s “Roundabout”, which plays at the end credits of each episode.
Lol yeah true mate. It is getting more and more convoluted, but it has been a great ride since 2008 anyway.Me too, but it will be a difficult task threading it all together and not leaving stuff unexplained!
The snowball is only getting bigger!

I’m leaving it out for a while to see if I can muster my enthusiasm and enjoy the conclusion.
In all fairness it’s probably a loose cog in my bonce as I was exactly the same with game of thrones - truly loved it but by the time the last series came along I felt a very meh about it.
I hope you enjoy it, it could be that the continuity of cruising straight through from S1 E1 to S6 E10 makes it flow better. Thanks for the feedback. Heard off a few people series 5 was a bit shit. Only one way to find out, eh?
