Looking pretty nice for us.

United/Liverpool and Everton/Spurs taking each other out and only 1 from Wolves/Arsenal/Southampton can make it to the 6th round.
Couldn't have worked out much better than that.

Klopp has purposefully played weakened teams season after season in the cups, in order to concentrate on the league ... and now Liverpool fans are complaining about the draws they get.

If they've failed year after year in the domestic cups (and they have) then the reason lies on their own doorstep.
You’ll know if Koop goes strong against the rags, then he’s knows the league has gone ;)

We were in an old Cortina somewhere in Derbyshire when it was called off. Got there ok for the rearranged game.
Went on the coach for the Sunday game and there was mayhem in the coach park before and after the match. We started off in the open terrace but ended up in the main stand paddock.

Ryanair derby shame at least one of the assorted plastics has to go through. Proper derby would have been stretford v Crawley or Victims v Bournmouth.
Ryanair Derby......not heard that before. I'm stealing that for work.

They play in the league first this weekend, whoever loses that game would go strongest next weekend in the cup as neither would want to lose twice at both ends of a week ...

For us though it suits that they draw (both in the league first) and then in the cup to take it to extra time as well ...

I'm sure Cheltenham have a large City branch there. They will be well buzzing.
They have a large branch. Pat Higgins runs it but I'd imagine they're pretty pissed at the same time. Kinda like a heres what you could of won day with no fans being allowed after probably waiting years and years for this tie

Anyone thinking these will be easy, Liverpool fans included, needs to think again.

Yes, ability wise we are streets ahead. But away in cheltenham, they'll be giving it all and it's a banana skin for sure. Can we play our game there? Can we stand up to them on set pieces? Will they be start struck or will they go in extra hard to show us it won't be easy, with a referee who has a soft spot for the underdog?

11 Vs 11 on a big pitch in spring, sure we'll do most teams from Stalybridge to Napoli. Away, windy wet weather, needs application and character. Yes, we should win, but not a foregone conclusion by any means.

Pep tends to get us up for most games and we should do them by a few, but they'll want to drag us down to their level and make a fight of it. Longer the game goes on without a city goal the more confident they'll get.

Cheltenham are very direct but the strikers are quite nippy, also got a guy with a massive long throw. Height will be needed hopefully ake is back by then, walker will be needed as well. Ferna and Rodders will have to be in there to win second balls.
