Anyone know what time and day we’re playing ???

The FA Cup 4th round weekend is 23-24 Jan so anywhere from Fri 22 to Mon 25 ties could be arranged ... we’d most probably be Saturday 23 as we play Wed before (20 Jan - Villa - H) and Tue after (26 Jan - WBA - A) so logically we would be Saturday (whatever time) but then technically it can be anyone of those four days.

Those figures need to take into account the further a team gets the less (generally) lower teams it's possible to draw.

What did catch my eye was how few games the dips have played no wonder they win single trophies domestically.

Phew, after today, Swansea won't be easy at all next ... and that game comes sandwiched in between Liverpool (A) on a Sunday and Spurs (H) on Saturday - so nailed on going to be a Wednesday night game (unless the TV twats want us on a Tuesday or Thursday just to ruffle us up, like all those years ago against Chelsea they just won't budge and only would give one day in between a big Champions League game so Pellegrini had to play all the kids).

I’m not so sure - as mag points out on this thread, having liverpool the Sunday before and Spurs the Saturday after will surely have an impact on selection.

Oh right, I wasn't aware we had those games either side of this. Yeah not necessarily full strength then but perhaps a bit stronger than today's line-up.

It will have to be, or at least a different mindset. Watched the game against Forest today. Played them off the park. 5-1. The non penalty turned the game admittedly, but there was only one winner. We will have to be on our guard for this one
