Haven’t heard anything from my rag ‘mate’ in over 3 months, now this exchange on WhatsApp

Thing is the premier league might have got what it wants, but its got it in a middle of an out of control pandemic when most fans couldnt give a shit about football.
My phone has never been so quiet about football, my spurs, Chelsea, arsenal etc mates we havent texted each other about football for ages. Our texts are about how are you feeling etc family safe ?.
We never mentioned football. I even saw my spurs mate yesterday and we didnt even mention football not even the league cup final.
In fact the only football thing we mention was how had Merseyside police allowed the scousers to break the guidelines again at the Marine match. Just the normal slacking off of the scousers being above the law ! And their police force to scared to do anything. And that chat was about the pandemic and not football.

Kinell, we put a reserve side out the other week and whooped their arse !

Unfortunately that's not going to make any difference when we're playing other teams and, as I said, they're getting the rub of the green every time they need it. We'll see if their favourable decisions even themselves out over the course of the season but I'm not gonna hold my breath waiting for it to happen.

I was wondering, if the rags won the Prem by a point (unlikely I know), would there be any complaint raised about the penalty awarded to them AFTER one of their matches had finished?

True, but it doesn't show how you did it. While i have no doubt they have been assisted up to now, i'm not sure it will continue.
The main reason being the dippers squealing at every injustice/beneficial VAR decision/penalty they get.
We have two corrupt forces going head to head. Something juicy is going to leak out.

Two thing happened last night that i thought i would never see.

One, they got a goal ruled out by VAR that would have been easier to give.
Two, SKY actually put a graphic up comparing squad costs. In fact they went further to show Beeky sat on the bench and said the whole Burnley team cost the same as that one player!
