Meat 'n potato pie 'n a Bovril. I've got Bovril in the house but I haven't made one. Last one I had was at the last game!
I think it’ll be next season to maintain the integrity of the league (cough), assuming said vaccine does what it says on the tin.If the latest tests on the new variant show the vaccine is still effective, i think it will be much sooner than that.
Once the hospital admissions start to lower in Feb/March, i can see a phased introduction starting from there.
How good will it feel?? Simply can’t wait to be at a packed Etihad with all this behind us and seeing all the old characters and faces. Will never not appreciate it ever again.
Just put it on me Twitter as this fully reminded me. But remember that home game about 10 years ago where they put on the big screens that we'd ran out of chips and everybody hit the roof?I've heard the halftime chips will still be cold...
It has never bothered me if the stadium is full or not, it seems to be a fairly new phenomenon.
Yep, 2022 at best I reckon. Once the majority of the 'at-risk' population have had the vaccine... That's what 2021 is all about, unless they f*ck that up as well or make up some other bollocks that means our freedoms are restricted still.Reckon a full stadium is at least 2 years away myself.
Got a box of pies from the company that supply them and were selling off all those made in the first lockdown. Weren’t cheap but they are decent pies.Meat 'n potato pie 'n a Bovril. I've got Bovril in the house but I haven't made one. Last one I had was at the last game!
All over 50 s probably over 40s too and those at risk under 50 will have been done before August. Expecting open stadiums for next season.Yep, 2022 at best I reckon. No, I dont think Covid is made up just the way it's been handled (globally) has been nothing short of a disaster. It's something we are going to have to learn to live with, no doubt, but only time will tell how much this is going to cost economically and on our freedoms. Its got to the point where it's hard not to be somewhat sceptical about just how 'normal' things will ever be again. All over 50 s probably over 40s too and those at risk under 50 will have been done before August. Edit just re read that what do you mean make up ? You thing covid is made up ?
Much will depend on whether the virus can still be caught and transmitted by vaccinated people or not, and that is a big unknown fact at this stage. It will be summer before the data can begin to shed light on that. Then come Autumn there will likely be the need for booster vaccinations. The news that getting the virus leads to around 5 months protection might suggest the vaccine gives a similar length of protection.Yep, 2022 at best I reckon. The length of protection from a vaccination isn’t the same as that from having had covid so doubt they will be doing boosters in the autumn.Much will depend on whether the virus can still be caught and transmitted by vaccinated people or not, and that is a big unknown fact at this stage. Also, nobody is yet discussing what happens when everyone starts mixing again with regard to other viruses that we used to share freely and unknowingly, but have been doing much less of. Our immune systems will be less resistant to those and could lead to other issues for some.
We'll get fans back in next season, but a full stadium could be years off yet.
