The first time we are back and it is full!

If the latest tests on the new variant show the vaccine is still effective, i think it will be much sooner than that.
Once the hospital admissions start to lower in Feb/March, i can see a phased introduction starting from there.

Not to sound a ****, but I don’t think there’s any chance of fans being back this season. Next Christmas at the earliest I would think.

The length of protection from a vaccination isn’t the same as that from having had covid so doubt they will be doing boosters in the autumn.
Nobody knows either way at the moment, the only value we have (and that will change) is approx 5 months. It is likely the vaccine will not give lifelong protection so I am using that as a starting point. Or we can just hope/guess boosters won't be needed.

I think boosters or adapted vaccines will be needed, but expect them to be more likely annual same as flu rather than 5 or 6 monthly.

Quite possibly, but that might be after we've gone through another Autumn/Winter period. We'll need to go very cautiously in Autumn if there's no plan/need to offer a booster which is why I think the government will still be preventing large groups of people next season.

Not cuntish at all. There is every chance you will be correct.
But going off the Liverpool experiment, and the huge money involved. It just wouldn't surprise me if the pressure to get back to normal will start as early as possible.

Just put it on me Twitter as this fully reminded me. But remember that home game about 10 years ago where they put on the big screens that we'd ran out of chips and everybody hit the roof?
We all remember where we were and what we were doing on THAT fateful day....
(me? i was second in line just about to be served!)

Can't wait but knowing my luck the holiday I've moved for the fourth time I'll miss the scum and the dippers at home

Not a chance.

We’ll still be coming down from the massive peak until Easter.

Can you imagine how many pissed up blues there will be, it will be a full on party before during and after, I would say it will be the best atmosphere ever experienced, even more than the qpr, United and Liverpool games of recent times.
When the team walks out the roof will lift off, I can’t wait myself. I’ve been during lockdown and it’s depressing, nothing like seeing the blues live and I still get into the match but you can’t beat it with the fans been there.

Won't be full at first, I know some SC holders considering not going back and there will still be some other fans hesitant at first.
