The lad i was working with today (and will be tomorrow) is a rag.

He's a decent guy, who will give and take the piss-taking in the right spirit.

I asked him about the rent boy's tactics, and he was scathing. He couldn't understand why the pisscan's puppet didn't set them up to attack more.

They set up like lower league teams playing a Premier League team in the FA Cup. They sit back, park the bus, and try to counter attack. A bit like Palace and Brighton (and everyone else) does against us. United do this against everyone, not just City and Liverpool. It's embarrassing for any big club to do this (apart from perhaps major European away games). It's amazing how far they have sunk as a club.

Yet sky report highest ever viewing figures for a Premier league game. That's at least 4 million dickheads we know there are on these shores.

Fernandes is a Fifa players type of footballer. Lots of ‘headline’ stats. Goals (pens), and assists.

What he doesn’t do is grab a game by the scruff of the neck. He doesn’t control proceedings, he’s quite lightweight and petulant.

Certain players can transfer the frustration of being kicked / fouled into game winning performances. Watching Fernandes he can’t, he throws his arms up in the air and has a habit of vanishing.

He’s a very good player, make no mistake. But he’s nowhere near world class. Anyone that thinks he is, isn’t watching the whole picture.

Hes similar standard to what bernardo is this season. But bernardo is only 2/3rds the player he was 2 seasons ago

That's because these guys and there aren't many, are true honest proffesionals ( Frank Lampard as a player springs to mind, Vincent Kompany, Stephen Gerrard etc ).....No wags to parade on celebrity shite, no scandal, no sucking up to media luvvies, no headline news, no attention grabbing. They just get on with it quietly and proffesionally and let their skills do the talking. Hopefully the impressive youngsters in the game will learn from them.
