Without getting ahead of myself, i think we will hammer them tonight. They've not played since NYD. Their squad has been stricken with Covid. I was bad with Covid at the beginning of December and it took me more than two weeks to fully recover. They'll be absolutely shattered. It could be 7 or 8.
We didn’t do too bad against Chelsea after being hit with a covid outbreak and having our training ground shut down?

Just spoke to a friend who knows Micheal Fish. He said there's no hurricane on the way

Ha ha that brought back memories I was working at sea that night in Kent. We should have got off the ship at 11pm.but didn't get off until 4:30 am. Walking through Dover that morning it looked like world war three had broken out, damage everywhere. I got back to my digs, made a cup of coffee and a sandwich and was just about to read my book when the power went so I gave up and went to bed.

Glad

Gladbach fans where already in the stadium when the game was called off. I was on level 3 and had watched them wade through waist deep water to reach the entrance, the water was coming through the south stand roof like a waterfall.
That day was very strange. I was already in the ground as well and the weather was ok (if not a bit rainy) when I entered (around 2 hours before KO). Those next 2 hours were biblical. The game was called off and we all agreed rightly so. I went to Mary D's for a pint and to watch the other games, at half time I started making my way home, the rain had cleared and you'd have never known there'd been a storm!
