I'm assuming he's been isolating with the person who had it causing him to isolate. It will have been not far off a year seen we've had a fit aguero by the time he gets back on the pitch.

Knows the league, scores goals, knows how to 'work' a defence, bang in form, always gives 100%, and wouldn't expect £200k a week. If we sign him on an 18 month contract and it works out well (i.e. we win trophies) he'd be worth every penny. In any case, he'd be a very decent back-up striker for whoever we sign in the summer.

Fair comment. I think he'd be bought for a lot less than £30m though.

And he hasn't played in how long? He's always taken several games to get up to speed when returning from a lay off. Now, with advancing years, it might take him longer still. I'm not expecting much from him this season.

He was isolating because he'd been in close contact with someone else who had tested positive, he's been tested himself and is now positive. The 10(?) days will run from when he tested I'd guess.

On a brighter note. I managed to get hold of his gloves. Not long after the goal. he took them off and passed them to their keeper. And he threw them behind the goal.
My lad was made up when I gave them to him.

We need a striker now! The ones we have available at the moment just don't score enough, are lightweight and miss loads of chances. Luckily our defence for the first time in ages is holding firm so scoring one is proving enough. We will regret not getting somebody in. Cavani would have scored about ten already in our team. It doesn't have to be a world class star just a decent physical poacher in the box.

No, it doesn’t. We now know that you can show a false positive up to 6 months after contracting the virus.
