Johnny Rotten outing Jimmy Saville in a 1978 BBC interview.
What happened next?
The BBC interview disappears.
Corrupt paedophile protection racket thats what they were/are.
You'd think that after all that shit had stuck with them they'd change their ways for the better.
But no here we are listening to their propaganda machine suck up to the yanks and attack Manchester City FC at every given opportunity.
Fuckin awful disgraceful organisation that is rotten (forgive the pun) to the core.

Noticeable in the first two graphs that our the interest in us is rising slow and steadily, whereas the Red scum (both of them) spike in interest when they are successful, or looking like they could be successful, proving the point that it's glory-hunters responsible for these figures
It’s almost as if there are some people who used to be interested in football, then not interested in football, are now interested in football again.

Wonder why that is?

I can’t find a direct link to Liverpool FC, but he’s got all the hallmarks of another clueless, plastic, glory hunting, Scouse, Liverpool supporting journalist from Tonbridge.

WEST BROM V MANCHESTER CITY - SAM ALLARDYCE AND PEP GUARDIOLA: THE INNOVATORS WHO FAILED TO EVOLVE

The other end of the table, with Manchester City, is a little different. While Pep Guardiola might not bring in more than one or two names, if he ever wants funding from his benefactors he is granted it. He has cycled through a preposterous number of players, particularly in defence, as he tries to find his perfect setup. He has players like Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva and Ferran Torres. This summer, he will probably have more of the youngest and most exciting talents available in the market.

Once he had to make do without Messi though, he has not once won the Champions League. He has not advanced football in the way Jurgen Klopp has most recently. City are very good, but they never quite became especially great.(unlike Liverpool, the greatest ever PL team)

But both of them have slowed down, failed to evolve significantly since they came on the scene. With half the season remaining, it is yet to be seen if they can pull off another success.
What a fantastic article. He may as well have written:

Hey everyone, I know fuck all about football

& left it at that. At least that would’ve been a factual, well thought out article

You can tell her to' fuck off ' from me.

Some people refer to it as "Agenda "

Some people refer to it as "Media Bias"

Some people refer to it as "Conspiracy"

Call it what you will, we're not all equal in the eyes of the broadcasting media and written press.

The disparity regarding the reporting of Manchester City and that of the other top five premiur league clubs is startling.

It's been well documented within this thread the way we're held up against different values and objectives to that of the other clubs.

Example: you'll never hear Spurs need to win the Premier League. However, MCFC have got to win the Champions League.

You'll never hear Liverpool have got to win the league back-to-back. However, if MCFC want to be regarded as a successful club they've got to win it back-to-back

You'll never hear Klopp villainised for bombing out of the cup competition. However, we're expected to go all the way in every campaign.

You'll never hear the rags or Liverpool's defence can be got at. However, our every flaw and shortcoming is laid out bear like dirty washing.

You'll never hear Pogba and Maguire cost a combined £170,000,000.00 when the rags are playing inferior teams or when those two players are playing poorly. However, there's not a game goes by when the cost of player's are not trotted out.
well said. spot on.

It’s the rugby league & football teams from Salford that I feel sorry for now...

They have to justify their budget and compete for funding. Viewing figures and clicks are paramount.
Exactly - they get money from the Public purse, but each department has to fight for their share of that pot... if the Sport website wasn't generating traffic, they would get less of a share!
Also, the journalists wage/bonuses rely on how many clicks they get.

How long does the survey take as I got the email
2 minutes as I blitzed through all the non relevant parts and then wrote a novel on their football coverage, I doubt mine will get used but it was fun to type :)

I didn't name myself as a City fan but if they use their brains it will be easy to put the clues together, bitter bile spewing twats.
