Phew! Safe at 41 points now :)

I’ve said it more than once now but Cancelo = Baller. Nightmare of a player for any opposition because of how he plays and it works because he plays as a fullback.

Gundy was brilliant as well. Doing the business. Currently silky ilkay.

Rodri didn’t let them have a sniff as well. Not vintage Raz but the goal will do him some good. Even Mahrez got a goal. Clean sheet. Job done. The Blue Moon keeps rising.

That was almost perfect, yet people still moaned on the match day thread (shakes head yet again). Need to follow this up at the weekend again and really put a marker down

After false 9, tonight we've seen false 2 and 3 in the first half. At one point in the second half I was shocked to see Zinchenko twice in 2-3 minutes receiving the ball in MF, turning surrounded by WBA players and then running forward, completely forgetting he's been an international MF player for some time. And Cancelo, pfhhhh........ Pep to Cancelo;"You are a GK tonight!'. Cancelo:"Ok mister". Strange times!

Gundogan made that, what a first half performance that was. Brilliant!

Pep was buzzing with that performance.

For the first time since about October 2019, we can sing “Raheem Sterling, he’s top of the league”

Aye that was good that, wonderful all round. Not sure much more needs to be said, you all saw the game yourselves.

Great win, easier than I expected.
We played really well up until subs spoiled the rhythm. After that is was controlling it in 3rd gear.

We play some great football these days. Even though WBA was by far the worst side I’ve seen. How we dropped 2 points at home beats me.

Don't want to get ahead of myself, but the spine of this team could do something very special in the next few years. No wonder Pep wasn't ready to leave. The exciting thing right now is the whole squad is looking good, we have viable options across the pitch, and we are looking comfortable in a number of subtle positions AND we can play more defensively without having to completely sacrafice the attack. As fluid and adaptable as we've been under Pep, just need to kick on and win some stuff to prove it.
