One was helping Paul Lake out, he showed a kindness, when he had no need to. He's also done unpaid work for the NHS in gratitude for his CVA treatment and heard other nice stories.

Another thing that strikes me is you never heard any bad "out of work" stories about him, apart from the diarrhoea story and some pissed up tramp. You'd expect at least several for such a nasty character, yet nothing, maybe I'm wrong and someone will say he ate their puppy? Joking apart if you look at Jose, you'll understand where I'm coming from, with his eye poking and sexism.

He's not the devil we like to think he is, in fact he seems a genuine guy, a winner and someone I wished we'd had, sadly he went to them and the rest is history.

I don't regret our past, but growing up with just one failed FA cup attempt was a bit, well, shit.

It was my turn for a lie in this morning but I thought fuck that and got up at 7.00am and intensely looked out the window simmering with rage.
The wife said what are you doing, I replied that the rag bastards were playing the arse tonight so I got up early to hate them to a loss...she turned over and farted.

I'd heard and read various stories about him down the years that tended to suggest that, away from a football environment, he was a decent enough bloke. In the football works, though, he was a ****. Remember him giving out verbal abuse to Vicky Kloss?

There used to be a proper rag twat not right I went to school with who was a huge fan of Ultravox. Laughed my bollox off when Joe Dolce kept them off number one. Ended up having a fight with him over it! Battered him, then his older brother battered me. I still don’t like Ultravox 40 years on and I saw the rag twat a couple of years back and he looked a right scruffy herbert. Started humming Shaddap you face to myself. Missus thought I had lost it.

So does this mean the hatred towards the dippers (and for that matter Arsenal, Leeds etc.) was fake and at the end of the day it was little old city he truly hated? I actually hope that is true.

He went out of his way to try and belittle us and say how small and insignificantwe are.
If we were that insignificant, why even mention us?
It's tearing him apart seeing his shit club trying and failing to keep up with us just like it is every other bitter Rag twat and long may it continue.

I think 2 things really tear him up - the stick we gave him (do you remember him running up to our end when they scored gesticulating - knight of realm my ar&e) and the fact we have Manchester in our name. He knows the name of the city detracts from their self inflated status.
