Here's a question for those who have been vaccinated?

Did you have to hang around for 15 minutes afterwards? My mother in law had her first shot of Pfizer at Wigton Hospital a week last Friday and she was straight out after she had it. They told her to take paracetamol if she felt unwell (she was fine).

Obviously if they get rid of the 15 minute wait then they can go even faster, especially at smaller locations.
My wife and I had the jabs yesterday morning (Pfizer) We had to both wait in a seating area for 15 mins.

Last night we both felt a little "fluey" and had dead arms, took a couple of Paracetamol, had an early night and both of us feel much better this morning.

I would also like to praise all the staff at the centre, they were very friendly and professional.

Had mine at the Etihad, they advised to wait 15 minutes, especially if I was driving. There was an area with socially distanced seats and a Marshall watching, but no one forced you to wait.

You would imagine after over eight million vaccinations to date they have enough evidence to show that there aren't any serious reactions. I'd assume the waiting area is just for the ultra cautious to reassure them.

Similar to the flu jab, everyone should be advised to wait and area available for them to wait in. It’s up to the patient to wait or not. I presume it would have implications on indemnity if not.

All areas are getting through age ranges at a different pace. I've had mine done in Altrincham but my mate in Didsbury who's five years older hasn't had a call yet.
Yeah think its just a case of waiting, or getting lucky.

I have looked on here occasionally but the date moves all over the place, I've gone from the second week of March to late April in the space of a couple of days.

Also one of my old school friends has loads of underlying health problems and her surgery is in Brooklands but she hasn't had her jab yet.

The important word there is "nearly" so it's still not "500k a day" and has been well short all week , as you well know and haven't mentioned.

I've never been critical of the government on this, they're doing a great job, I just remain realistic about how quickly we get out of this mess.

Lets see how the numbers do over this weekend, as the number today is actually less than it was last Saturday (Fridays number).

cleavers I love you.

Omni calculator a bit weird at the moment with variations in vaccination rates and (I guess allowance for 2nd dose).
My estimated date has shifted 6 weeks in the last 7 days ! Type in 64 and 65 as your age and see how it changes.

My mother had to wait 30 minutes as she has allergies. I think it depends on the person.

In my leaflet they gave me it says covid19 was first identified in late 2019, so was right it was about earlier than has been said.I bet we all brought it back from bergamo, as well as elsewhere

Yep same for me but sat in the car for a bit no problem
