Because City aren’t the product they’re trying to sell - and we aren’t their audience.

The Fail have no interest in engaging City fans in reading about their team - the product they are peddling is endless reams of empty drivel about United and Liverpool.

It’s little more than a Fanzine.
Still doesn't make sense. Downplaying City, fair enough, but downplay the league and you are indirectly insulting your customer fan base.
These algorithm strategies media companies run by are strange to me.

All very positive stuff....

Thanks for posting.

A very concise and informative summary given by someone who was just stating the actual stats which backed up his conclusion City are the team to beat in the league this year.

He gave reasons why the rotation in place from Pep is not only currently working but how it will help us as we move along a very hectic schedule, acknowledges the influence Gundogan and Dias have had on our season whilst we have had virtually no forwards available and unlike other journalists like Stone at the BBC states how controlled the game was against Sheffield Utd.

Also recognises the month ahead is going to be a very hard one and correctly states nothing is decided as yet for the title, but we are obviously very much the team to beat.

Also as already posted, correctly states that even though Pep has been given lots of money through his managerial career, that the money does not guarantee success and uses Allardyce as an example of if given such money would not be in the position Pep is, 500 wins in 673 games at all his clubs.

Amazing stats currently for City, but even more amazing how much we are ignored and even sneered at and treated with such contempt and disdain by the so called ‘press’ of this country.

If we continue on our current path, and I acknowledge that at the moment it is in no shape or form guaranteed with the scheduling of this season, surely we must not only win the title and have an outstanding chance in other comps, but our manager and team must receive the plaudits and awards they both not only would deserve but will have earned through hard work and a team spirit that currently seems to be soaring.

The reality is that our press/media will continue to sneer and deride at every opportunity, ignore the actual form and stats that are in front of them, rejoice in any defeats we have, put our opponents on a pedestal no matter if deserved or not, and continue with their collective heads in the sand whilst recycling at every opportunity the same agenda/bias they have held against our owners and team since day one of the takeover.

By agenda finder general Frank Sinatra.

tbf Frank would question the media “agenda” & there were silly examples but clearly he seems to have relented that at times there is. We were told by others there was no agenda from authorities, FFP & the witch hunts that followed has showed there is an agenda.

The last 7 days of Slys attempt to sell Penandes as the greatest ever Premier league signing looks very futile again this morning.
They never learn from their previous mistakes of blowing smoke up the rags arses.
No cos their get out of jail card and smoke screen now seems to be racism, which is very sad.

Would it really hurt them to praise other teams players every now and again, or like a junkie are they just addicted to shit gear that as we know as a detrimental knock on effect to the wider community.

THEY NEED TO GET CLEAN!!!

that’s why I believe Rags & Dippers incentivise individuals, it shouldn’t matter to Sky or BT who win, the game is the attraction & the majority do not follow these.

But then, at the bottom of the report, he awards their goalie MotM. They just write shit piled on shite, not understanding that what they've written is full of inconsistencies at best or just total inaccuracies! You'd think that a national broadcaster, so covetous of its reputation, would produce something that matched what actually transpired.
When there’s nothing ’controversial’ happening they need to find a way to contort the readers mind in order to keep the narrative going that we are either lucky and not there on merit or the officials are with us and cheating them out of the top slots.

Either way, it keeps the popular Sky 5 readers clicking the nonsense which keeps them frothing.

Fucking Steven fucking Warnock getting shoehorned into every possible football programme the BBC can manage, makes me fucking sick. From being shit on the pitch, to being shit on the radio as a guest, to be being shit as a co-commentator, to being shit as a MotD2 pundit, and now being shit on football focus chatting shit with another scouser and a rag sycophant giggling prick who's also somehow risen to fame for doing fuck all (other than giggling and making shit jokes with Naga (pretty fit but I hate her) Mung-fuckin-chetty on the BBC morning bullshit show). Other than being able to spout scouse bias, what attributes does he have that warrant this rise?

Fuck off Warnock, you're a wanker!
My wild guess is you think Warnock is shit :-)
Btw what a consistent shit surname in football

ignores a couple of efforts in the second half by Jesus and Zinchenko and a header by Laporte? Not an easy game but we were in control and it was a professional display that incorporated half a dozen squad rotations
What they wanted to say was that City struggled against the bottom of the league team but couldn’t as they would have bring up the United loss in midweek.

Still not seen too much of that, wonder if the same was portrayed of United?

Best performance in January in the history of the game lads!!!!!!!! Now 3 points clear with a game in hand.

I can't wait to see todays media headlines...

Star Sport - United too scared to fight for title

Sunday express - Van Dijk gives Klopp a title tonic ... Keane lets rip as United slip ... and some shit about the Leeds manager

Telegraph - United hit the wall

The Mail on Sunday - Some shit about Brazil and the World cup, with a stupid picture of an Arsenal and Utd player.

Sun Sport - Keano lets rip .... and Accused, Liverpool and Manchester United have been accused of plotting with Fifa to destroy football (fake news)

Sky Sports news football (worldwide) - Hit and miss, title looks out of reach for Man Utd ... Keane, Man Utd look frightened of title battle ... Sergio Ramose wants Utd move ... Rashford responds to racist abuse

ESPN - Transfer news

CNN - Rashfrod racially abused... Title chasing United stunned as crazy Premiere league season gets crazier

The independant - CITY surge clear at top - Solskjaer pleased despite draw, despite falling three points behind City

BBC sport football - Rashford racism ... We are fighting like animals (Pep on City)

Fox news - Man city making case for defence in latest EPL title charge ... watch and admire Man City

An interesting stat that I haven’t seen mentioned yet is that United have a 61% win and 24% loss rate this season in all games which is extremely good compared to recent ones. However, what’s more interesting is that City have a 75% win rate and only a 6% loss, which is quite amazing.

One would think that these sort of stats would be widely publicised, considering the monumental milestone Pep reached yesterday.

They use this table to prove his credentials "No team has won more points since his arrival" (published 29th Jan). Note City are 1 point behind and a game in hand. Might just be the cynic in me but I wonder if the author was thinking "Better issue this article today, before the weekend games, if City win and Reds don't then this table (and whole article is invalid)".

To be honest, even the most hardened of doubters can be under no illusion now. The introduction of UEFA FFP, leading to the Sky 4 letter urgently requesting PL FFP. The ‘Taking a pinch’ after being scammed by UEFA who made a last ditch amendment to the rules after David Gill was drafted in to oversee the process. Then, amongst other things, onto the disqualification from UEFA competitions and staggering fine that was ruled on with no evidence at all. Oh, and those nice little requests to CAS from the ‘8ful 8’ to try to ensure we couldn’t play while the case was ongoing.

Combined with the absolute hatred and bile that was spouted by our very own media, some even commissioned by other members of the PL to do us more harm, then it was abundant see that is was ‘Clear and Organised’.
