You have touched on something that has wound me up for a long time. The coverage of Rashford and Captain Tom is the crowning turd on the steaming pile of manure we endure on a daily basis. I try to avoid as much social media as I can. My only vices are here, YouTube and I have to have LinkedIn for work.
On the LinkedIn in site you will find low level, self promoting, horribly embarrassing “look at me” examples of the same thing. I met George leaving the train station. He was begging. I spoke to him and it turns out he’s a hero of Goose Green. So I bought him breakfast, a new suit and booked him into a Premier Inn. Work weren’t too bothered cause I own the business. Luckily I had my camera phone to capture the whole thing and share it with you on social media. Let’s all agree how great I am.

Aha, yes exactly. Or there is the 'I know this isnt FB but...' stories on LinkedIn. Or the look at this picture of two carrier bags of food I took to the food bank today. Yeah, I'm aware he's a dick of the highest order but if that was baiting then he'll be a happy camper right now. You have to know when to pick your battles.

Can't remember but I do think it was a national.
The Echo is not averse to lies either. There was a guy who came out with a load of lies after the LC semi against Everton about his disabled son being bullied. I know it was lies as it happened less than a yard away.

Yep that Everton stuff was utter bollocks, several eyewitnesses on here said the dad instigated the whole thing.
