Good shout. I think, like Jason Denayer, it has been suggested we didn’t exactly keep promises made to him when he was signed. He has also made some bad choices himself tbf, eg turning down a loan to Southampton to go medal chasing at Celtic instead

we all had high hope for him after the glowing reports and scouting done on him ? but i think the move to scotland and celtic was his level. could not keep that good level up. had good games then nothing for 10 games. in that league you should be having good games 1 in 2 with the lack of quality in scotland

i think we have just about got about half our money back with loans to clubs so its not that bad

I was excited when we signed him and I think there was a host of clubs after him. I watched a compilation of clips of him playing and the lad looked like bloody Messi, the ball glued to his foot and scoring some great goals. It's odd to think how it's turned out.

Transfer deadlines are to do with player registration. The player doesn't physically have to be at the club by the deadline. They can do their medicals in their current countries.
