Stop pushing it ,you need to rest not flog yourself ! It will take as long as it takes to recoverThought I’d be running next week given my recuperation over the past week but no chance.
I can feel the blighter sat heavy in my lungs.
Cleaned my flat head to toe yesterday & was absolutely wiped afterwards, all night in fact.
Was my birthday weekend and managed a glass of wine and that was it.
Perhaps work was quite heavy (it’s computer based but the brain ears energy & there’s quite a few meetings).
The head of my dept had it bad back in October and although he was running within a month he told me it’s still mentally affecting him.
I feel it more when it gets cold....like everyone.
Made me think about the future quite a bit too. When I eventually rebuild fully & get myself a place of my own I’ll be researching ‘advanced insulation processes’.
This flat is so inefficient in that regard (it’s damp, the sills drenched in water & the wall heaters are like breathing in dust).
I’d imagine this hasn’t helped my chest.
