United thread 2020/21

It's Munich time again. I just don't get every year they bring it up. I could understand 25 year 50 year anniversary but they don't celebrate how they treated the survivors, evicting them and the likes. No class at all. Look up the name Jackie Blanchflower if you are unaware of the scum's lack of compassion and hypocrisy

As a young lad in the early 60’s I used to deliver milk and the papers to Jackie Blanchflower’s house. It certainly wasn’t a huge mansion today’s footballers live in but a nice house all the same which we council estate lads called the “posh houses”.
This was probably his own property and not the clubs.
A very nice family I remember.

I met Jackie in his later years, was a nice man.

There's a 12 page thread about it on Red Cafe. Given that they have 4 times as many posts per page, that's the equivalent of a near 50 page thread on here. To be fair, some of their fans think there's no malicious intent but fuck me, there are also some proper mouth-foamers going into full victim mode like their mates down at the other end of the East Lancs and saying he definitely intended to mock the disaster - it's almost like they want him to have meant it the fucking weirdos. The fact that many United fans don't even know the date of the Munich anniversary (so why would Fernandinho?) is completely lost on some of these whoppers. Oh, and why would he do such a thing while being snapped by City's official photographer? One dickhead even said that posting a boom emoji next to a plane emoji is an insult to those who have died on planes that have been blown up ffs!
The article is gone which might tell a story in itself.
What did it say briefly?

I've not seen the whole article - partly because I won't click on a link to that shit stain of a newspaper - but someone posted a snippet of it in a WhatsApp group I'm in. Basically says that Fernandinho posted pics on social media of him scoring a goal in training and celebrating with arms outstretched. He captioned the post with emojis which were in the following order:

Explosion (Boom emoji that many people post when a goal is scored)
Football (self explanatory)
Plane (no doubt referring to his goal celebration and not a plane crash 63 years earlier)
LOL (Laughing emoji)

The article goes on to explain that this has infuriated some United fans as they've put 2 and 2 together to make 5 and that 'dinho was deliberately mocking the Munich air disaster as he did this on the same day as the anniversary.

Multiple posters on there were wondering why a ‘dark mode’ settings had suddenly been switched on for them ... (the forum had a dark grey feel, rather than red)... for 1 day...so yes:

Don’t know the Munich disaster anniversary
Don’t know their sugar daddies
Don’t know City rescuing them multiple times
Don’t know about the multiple shafting of all clubs except the ‘big’ 3/4/5/6.
Don’t know about the Edwards family
Don’t know about the brown envelopes/new kitchens of the 60’s
Don’t know about the kicking out of the Munich victims families
Don’t know about the milking of the disaster for PR and Cantona expenses.

the definition of ‘plastic’ fans - not knowing about your own club.

Just heard that the legend Pogba is now injured......being a cynic this isn't a shock as he will win fook all this season so doesn't need to bother anymore ....perfectly matched to the club .
PS .please continue to milk the twats though

They'll start anything just make themselves relevant, especially in these hard times.......

Needs to wrap himself in cotton wool for his medical at PSG

So if anyone involved with City lifts both arms up from their side they are mocking the Munich air disaster?

Presumably if people get pissed on the way to a football match and start running at the turnstiles, causing a crush they are mocking Hillsborough
FFS I've to knock through a wall in the shed today. Oh wait that one never happened.

Looked to me like one of Carlton's mystery injuries that will side line him for a few weeks until the weather picks up.

I watched the regional news at lunch both Beeb and ITV. Football didn't happen this weekend. Might watch Granada tonight to see how the dipper channel will massage reality. The default would be the Darlings but Everton rather ruined that feel good story .... and as for our impertinence yesterday in tearing the Special Ones a new hole. I suspect that won't have a good effect on public morale. Still they can always spin pugnacious Ginger Neanderthal's draw as a victory..... This news management's dead simples!
