Don't confuse him mate,they are that used to seeing Salah go on the floor it becomes natural to them that it will be a free kick or a pen if in the box,no matter who touches who first

Because it was in the area, and Salah went to ground dramatically

The other parts of your post are full off ifs, buts and whataboutery. Nothing tangible to examine.
And just remind me; how many points did you finish behind the champions last year? Who was the last team to finish runner up eighteen points behind the winners the season after triumphing? This season will never ever be used as any kind of barometer as to where teams are up to, far too many aggravating factors in play.
In short, whilst you’ll probably win the league this year, this season won’t define you or anybody else indeed. But as to Sunday’s game, where were you before the second goal? Same as us, fancying about hoping for a lapse in concentration. You got that and capitalised, no doubt, but don’t pretend you’ve throughly spanked us because it’s simply not true.

But Sunday was a great example of a team high on confidence & a heavy winning streak taking their chances when they had to. No complaints here, that’s football.

You say not a 4-1 but we missed a penalty and had a stones goal ruled out by centimetres.

Know how many goal attempts you had after your penalty?

None. Not one. Zip. That's getting on for a third of the game without you fashioning a chance. In the same period we had the ball in the net four times, should have had a penalty, and dominated possession.

Say it's not a spanking all you like. The truth is you had your arses handed to you. Hard to take, maybe, but that's what happened.

4-1 defeat at home is a spanking mate... no matter what time the goals were scored or how. Remind me how many shots you had after your dubious penalty.

But we also missed a simple chance and other than errors by the goalkeeper, you gave him very, very little to do. The scoreline is what it is but it doesn’t reflect the general tone and flow of the game at all. Again, that’s football sometimes.

So like I said originally,be thankful it finished 4 when it could easily have been 6

And talking of barometers,neither will last season's hollow title win,in front of no fans will ever be remembered,don't forget that,but you probably won't count that as being hollow,only this season will be because you'll be nowhere near,a sight that football fans around the country will cherish.

Erm, you were all about the ifs and buts. I’ve referenced you directly there. And no title win is hollow, believe me. I’ve seen plenty of them.
Here’s a question; do you think more neutrals would root for you or us? I’m not talking about supporting an English club in Europe because they’re English, I’m just talking about every day domestic competitions. I’m interested to hear your thoughts here
