Breaking records/stats thread

All this talk about breaking records reminds me, FOC that i am, of that music show on the radio many, many years ago when people wrote in with requests for songs they hated and after it had been played they got to listen to the sound of the record being smashed to pieces.
Younger folk, look up "records that could be broken in bits."

(P.S. it wasn't on the radio, it was on the wireless.)

It is 11 mate....us 2017 and Chelsea 2008.

Was just looking at the 17 game run......scored 46 conceded 6.

Fewest goals conceded in a PL season -

Chelsea - 15 (2004/05)
Arsenal - 17 (1998/99)


We've conceded 4 in our last 14. With 14 games left if we keep it up we'll be the 3rd team to concede fewer than 20 goals in a season. Worth pointing out that those teams scored 72 (Chelsea) and 59 (Arsenal) goals respectively, so even if we fall slightly short of them it will have been playing much more attacking football.

Something for Dias and the boys to aim for.
