Racism in a behind closed doors match AGAIN !

No fan of Zlatan for obvious reasons but I am very interested to see what if any punishment comes their way.

Red Star Belgrade apologized to AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Friday after he was targeted with repeated ethnic insults from fans during a Europa League match that was supposed to be played without supporters in the standsAmateur footage showed Ibrahimovic, who has Bosnian and Croatian roots, being repeatedly targeted with the slurs as he sat in the stands as a substitute during the 2-2 draw between the two teams on Thursday................The match should have been played with no fans attending because of COVID-19 restrictions. But numerous Red Star fans apparently gained entry to the top of the stands that were reserved only for officials.

So brazen as well. We have offices all over the world, and one fella from that neck of the woods had his Skype status as: 'White revolution is the only solution' for all the company to see. A fine means nothing to these teams' 'fans' and there is no internal domestic stigma against it, and while we get annoyed at fines City may get, it doesn't really affect us on a personal level.

Fuck that shit I'm in a very similar situation to you as well.

I gotta hold back writing "all you Po****s must be racist" in my correspondence.

That comment could be classed as an ethnic slur in itself. It might well be a very tiny but very vocal and therefore noticeable section who attach themselves to football.

Harsh to say it’s sizeable, for all we know nearly everyone in Eastern Europe could have no racist views at all.

It’s like when people say there’s a rise in far right people in Britain because they’re more active on social media with their bollocks than normal people. There isn’t a rise in numbers, just a rise in their exposure.
 
Somebody even mentions racism and the baying mob are out in force with the cancel cult. Ironically all of this focus on racism started as it was at its lowest ebb.

I’m 52 and I’ve never met anybody with far right politics in my life. The only racists I’ve met are “people of a certain age”.

I don’t like demonisation in any form.

The words “could” “might” and “for all we know” were the most important part of my post which shows how I’m not saying I’m right.
