not going well for them is it..........condolences to Alisson

"The father of Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker dies after drowning in a dam at his holiday home in Brazil"

Well that is truly shocking news, I send my heartfelt sympathies to his son. Whatever we think of that lot, you would be a complete heartless twat not to feel sorry for him.

Becker is good guy imo, and this saddens me. To lose someone is hard, to lose someone and not be able to be at home to grieve is equally as bad. I know he'll have support here, both from his club, his friends (all the Brazilians in Manchester and Liverpool are so close), but nothing will hurt him more than losing a parent and in such a tragic circumstance. Parents of footballers are usually so unselfish and supportive of their children, and have a very close bond. Look at Jesus and his mother - their bond is so strong.

That was a fucking terrible day.

The day the dream died.....

Jesus... nothing is going right at Anfield these days. Feel terrible for him.

Really sad news, condolences to Alisson and family.
Now go get yourself on the next plane back to Brazil, and be with your family.
Football will still be here when you get back. A few weeks of isolation when you return to the UK is a price worth paying to be with your family, and to lay your father at rest.

Makes them feel better the soft cunts! Well next season when they are at full strength and still shit what they going to say then? They’ll blame there owners for not investing
That weapon who some City pods have on before games against them was bragging about their never to be beaten run of wins just a few days ago. Would love to see his face if we overtake that record, although his excuse would be theirs were all league games.

Just imagine if during our next game against them we started belting out the National Anthem - the dippers start booing. Game live on the telly too, wonder how the media could cover that up. Neutral support watching would realise what was happening and who knows they could follow suit. Well one can dream.
We played them when a minutes silence was observed for George Best. Their fans booed during that silence and outraged rags all over the country blamed us for it. Same would happen again.

DARKER TIMES?! We nearly got relegated in 1998 and had to sit through Walter Smith. City went down two divisions and IIRC Southampton were in the doldrums for a while. And Liverpool fans think they have it bad?
Tourist flights from Ireland and Scandanavia are a lot cheaper in comparison to those days.

What was he on about winning run of games that Liverpool team broke zero records
