Jokes aside, they couldn't have afforded Allison and VVD without the huge money from Coutinho. Unless they sell Salah/Mane/Firmino same way they mug Barca off with Coutinho, I reiterate they won't spend more than 30m-40m on a player.

Can't underestimate how much this lot playing United next week will also plays into our hands.
Ego won't allow either side to play weakened teams.
I'd argue they lost their intensity well before Van Dijk got injured. They were out on their feet in February.

I actually think the next fortnight is the title mix.
Palace, Villa, West Brom and Sheff United are all easy on paper but aside from Blades, the other three are all difficult.
